Ordered nachos with chicken and loaded garlic bread. Nachos has a limited amount of chicken and cheese. Half of the chips had nothing on them and the salsa and sour cream cups were half full. Later garlic bread was really good and the service was awesome.

Used to love this restaurant but last night my potato was cold and my steak was overcooked. My husbands food was cold also. I went to celebrate my birthday but the number of Gluten-free options was significantly less than it used to be. While we had a nice time, I was a little disappointed.

I had such a great experience with Ashley as my server! She was super nice, attentive, and made me feel really taken care of. She was also quick to upsell in a way that felt natural and fun, which I really appreciated. I loved my chicken tacos, and the veggie burger was absolutely delicious. Overall, Ashley made the visit even better with her great service and warm personality - I’ll definitely be back!

Edited to add.... They say they will contact you after a survey to rectify things but they don't. It's been three weeks and I haven't heard anything except a generic email you can't even respond to.

We've been to this location many times and always had wonderful food and service. However this latest time was absolutely off. My food arrived extremely overcooked and burnt. I politely sent it back. There were only four other tables occupied at the time we were there, however it still took 20 minutes for me to get my meal back. By that time the other people at my table were completely done their meals and our server had cleared the table. I was asked if I wanted a free coleslaw (why is coleslaw with fish and chips an extra charge???) or dessert. It was already 8pm and I declined both. I was still charged full price for my meal. When expressing how upset I was that there wasn't even a partial comp for my meal our server reached out to her manager and brought a new bill to our table......with an .87 cent discount. Our server was very apologetic and polite, but we were there for an hour and a half before I received my meal. Not sure if we will be going back to this location. That 87 cent discount almost seemed insulting.

My first visit left me with food poisoning, but I gave this place another chance. I placed a mobile order and arrived on time, only to wait 30 minutes past pickup. Staff claimed my item was sold out, then suddenly “found” it after I asked for a refund. The pie was frozen and tasted like freezer burn. Between getting sick the first time and this unprofessional service, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Had a wonderful experience at Montanas Paramount! The service was outstanding, especially thanks to the manager, Angie who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. It's rare to see that level of professionalism and hospitality these days. Highly recommend this place — we'll definitely be back!

We went in for dinner,we were greeted and seated right away. That was best part of our experience. After being seated we waited for 15 minutes and still did not see a server. The entire restaurant had 5 tables of customers with 4 servers on. After waiting that long we decided to leave. Overall experience was a -4. It will be an extremely long time before I will go back

Wow, all I can say is wow it must’ve been an off day or something. August 16, 25 at 5:30 PM. my wife and I decided to go to Montana’s for my second time which I very much enjoyed my first time at the upper James location in Hamilton. First of all, I can understand suppertime 45 minutes before we got our appetizer was only deep-fried pickles. A place was not very busy. You could walk in and get a seat right away. There must’ve been low on staff. So first off passions of the food are very good for the price you pay, my only complaint is my wings were not thoroughly cooked, I didn’t realize it until halfway through so upon the server asked me how my dinner was as well. The wings aren’t done so she said oh she’s very sorry. She was gonna get us some more. So I’m very cautious about sending food back to the kitchen. You know what I mean , that wasn’t the case they brought me five wings after I finished my dinner, which I stopped early because I lost my appetite, well the real kicker is upon getting the bill we noticed we are billed for two glasses of wine, which we had one, and they were gonna try to charge me for the wings that they took back and re-cooked me so charging me for Takeout. It was all corrected after my wife mentioned something to the server, but I don’t think I’ll be visiting this location in the future. Maybe I’ll give the upper James a try. But on my observation, I think the servers and the cooks need more training, And I don’t kinda get we asked for my life’s wine. It wasn’t not our table yet. They said oh it’ll be another few minutes. We’re still pouring it so I suggest getting a larger bottle so you can get the wine out quicker lol. My point is very dissatisfied, but we still left the server a tip. We know she’s probably new and she did not cook the wings. That’s all I’m sorry about putting this post on, but I believe this has to be addressed. I hope the owner reads us. Thank you for being patient and reading this whole review .
