i dont know whats with all these 4-5 star reviews... this place fell off BIG TIME

prices are through the roof, you order a chicken rice its 14$ + tax ... barely any chicken majority is overcooked rice and you ask for extra white sauce to cover your bowl of rice at this point that you paid almost 16$ for after taxes and they wont give it to you, just ignore you very rudely. last time i went i said i want my money back then and they finally gave it to me but i wont be coming back lolllllll... sana grill in rosedale is WAYYYYY BETTERRRR than this place for the same money i get as much sauce as i want and as much chicken , i never felt i was screwed over at sana grill compared to this tr@sh...

I didn't realize there was a Montfort in the food court here, but was happy to see one closer to me than Upper James. Stopped by here over the weekend and the service was fast, cashier was nice, and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious.

The man before me was upset that extra sauce was an extra fee, and mildly rude to the cashier about it. She handled the situation gracefully.

I ordered the chicken shawarma dinner and the proportion size was unexpected! I got way more salad than I thought I was going to get and equally for the rice and shawarna too! I had enough for leftovers the next day.

Since this location is in a food court, there is plenty of seating, has a family-friendly atmosphere, and there's tons of parking available. The place is also wheelchair accessible.

My wife and I just ate at the Ancaster Monfort Grill House twice this weekend! They were superb! The Lamb Shishlick was incredible…the sides and pita was some of the best I’ve ever had! Our waitress was absolutely amazing and so friendly , we wish we didn’t live 18 hours away because we would eat here very often! Signed Steve and Marnie of Garden Steele Away!

This is the best Montfort location. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous! I always get two meals out of the gyro dinner.

This is my go to meal at least once a week. The ladies are very friendly and service is fast. Love the chicken souvlaki on a pita and Greek salad.

What happen to this place? Used to go all the time. Went today to get a chicken and rice and the lady barely gives me any chicken. Don’t even cover the rice. For 14$ I’d expect at least all the rice to be covered since rice costs like 2$. Had to buy extra chicken and that costs over 7$! Won’t ever be going there again.

Regular at this place now. I like the homestyle cooking they do. I love their service. Happy to see familiar faces.

FWIW, they have a halal certificate that states that the halal meat is from Maple Lodge Farms. Be warned that the price that rings up in the register may not be the same as what is on the menu displays overhead. Despite that, the Falafel Pita is good value. Last, but not least, the hot sauce lacks bite.

Meh .. one of the ladies is pretty rude. The man is super nice.. the food is average, not spectacular. The way they make the pita layers dry meant and then sauce soup and it's just a mess. So you're wither drinking sauce or eating dry meat.. if you ask them to mix the sauce with the meat for an even experience.. eye rolls 🙄 .. lamb is overcooked and dry too.

There a holes bottom line don’t waste time.its like your doing them a favour.rude! Trust me. I wouldn’t want to know what’s really going on there

I've been coming here almost every week for a couple years now. They always have delicious food in huge portions and at reasonable prices. I'm especially fond of their falafel and kibbi. The staff are also very friendly. One of the best Mediterranean places around, for sure.

December 2024 update since Google asked: everything is still great and I still come here regularly.

I'm Standing there waiting for someone to acknowledge me, nothing. I walked away twice now. Maybe try another place.

Long wait times consistently. Good food if you have 15+ minutes to wait for it.
