The pho was OK portion wise way too small for the price ridiculous If you're gonna charge $16 $17 for a bowl has to be a pound of meat and an actual large extra large bowl,I give up on Asian restaurants Everyone wants to be 5 star gourmet Prices money money money, it doesn't work that way cheaper the price more people or better the portion then more people If not it's way easier to make at home.. you'll realize how ridiculously cheap it is to make at home!!

The food was okay but the service is really horrible, the waitress just gave me a attitude every thought I do speak Vietnamese and she dont pay attention to us. We do tip after that but not a thank you at the end or bye is very rude!!

Typical Vietnamese food. Some items on the menu may not be available when ordering and would need to confirm with the waitress. The utensils in a hot cup for cleanliness is a nice touch.
We ordered beef pho. The pho bowls seem smaller than other restaurants, but they provided a good amount of protein. The soup is on the bland side. The beef is on the lower quality. Would need the oyster sauce and Sriracha for flavour.
The atmosphere is your average Asian establishment with no fancy decor. There is a foul sewage smell within and outside the establishment. It was getting a bit harder to bear as we were trying to finish our food. Cleanliness around the premise could be better. This summer's heat makes things get worse much more quickly.

This used to be my super favourite pho, because it’s so good, like their soups and stuff and it has alot if portions. But when I went back, their regular is so small like so small and it’s not even hot, and their meet is not fresh and uncooked, I almost vomit.

This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant for 7 years. I've tried others, but keep coming back.

Have been coming here since 2018.
The food is always fresh and delicious.
My usual go-to is pho dac biet (beef noodle soup with everything)
The pho satay is also very good.
They make very good banh cuon (steamed rice rolls)
Service is great, always friendly and efficient.
I highly recommend you come here for tasty Vietnamese food!

Just like how mama used to make it, except better!
Always a fan of the chicken and beef pho blend.
Portions and price are fair. The rolls are great too.

Don't expect the best service from this hole-in-the-wall, but the food is spectacular. This is one of the most authentic and flavourful Vietnamese cuisine in Ontario. You must try everything!

Mother’s is one of our favourite pho spots in Hamilton. Great value for the price and portion sizes, and the service is straightforward and minimal in the best way possible. Highly recommend the steam rice rolls along with the pho.
