weird change of atmosphere when you walk in. it’s humid like a jungle in the dining area, and the bathrooms are cold and dry. ended up getting a sinus infection after my visit. my sub was quite exquisite, as I ordered my regular which i use as a litmus test at all sandwich shoppes. i ordered the 12” albacore tuna sub on multigrain bread, extra mayo, extra black olives, mushrooms double toasted ropes with swiss cheese. unfortunately the mushrooms tasted like the sea and had the texture of the ocean. at some points i felt like i was in california. it was fishy, sloppy, humid, sweaty, briney, everyone was there, the waves were crashing, i kicked a sandcastle, i got badly burned to the point of having UV poisoning. I left bloated and sick. the sub was delicious, fulfilled and satisfied my every whim! would love to return but unfortunately i lost the store key and the tuna sub was not that great. service was positively sublime. staff only asked me to leave twice.

Showed up and their hours are reduced for winter and closed. No notice or hour change online for when I looked for somewhere open to find food, just a locked door and paper taped to the window. Annoying.

A true Canadian KNOWS that Mr. Sub has been consistent for yeaaaars. This location is OFF! Mr. Sub head office should take a look into this location cause they’re definitely not using the bread they’re supposed to be using. The bread was soo thick and stale!! No option to grill, tastes like a cold sub you’d buy at a gas station. New management needs to get it together, the cheap route isn’t always the best route.

Haven’t been here since the new owner took over and I’m extremely disappointed. The owner, Jinesh has very poor customer service skills. Argued with my husband over the phone because he asked to have a seafood sub remade after finding out it had been sitting out for over a half hour. The previous owners did an excellent job ensuring the freshness and quality food they served was up to customer standards, sad to see it is no longer the same.

Was in town for a baseball tournament held at Turner park. Three of us came for lunch Saturday after a game, arrived just after open. I ordered my sons sub, the girl went right to my husband after and was shocked when I asked for a third sub. She tried to do the toppings for all three subs at the same time and was getting confused of what we were saying, so I requested to do all subs separately.We were never asked if we wanted our subs grilled or heated. They were just wrapped right up and placed on the tray. We forgot about grilled as we are always asked at our regular Mr Sub in our home town. I brought them back up and asked to get them grilled, the girl didn’t apologize for her not offering just rolled her eyes and put them on the grill for maybe 10 seconds. There was barely any grill marks on both of our subs.The chicken in our subs was ice cold usually microwaved at any other MrSub we have been to and comes out of microwave hot.Since we were from out of town we ate in, was hard to find a clean table, and the table we thought was clean was all sticky. My husband had to sit at the end of the table. While eating my husband looks up and sees an earwig climbing up beside me and my son on the wall. After he flicked it away we look behind me and there’s another dead ear wig on the table behind us.Was very disgusted on the inside and it was clear it hasn’t been cleaned very well if at all. Was also disappointed on the customer service shown from behind the counter. Hope to possibly give another shot next time we are in the area for a tournament but if disappointed again will never be back.

On a Sunday does this place close at 8:45pm or 9pm? Went to the drive thru to order 1 quick cold cut sub at 8:50pm, and the employee yelled at us from the doorway and said they were closed… not impressed.

Walked into an empty store and stood there waiting for 10 minutes to be served as they continued to take drive thru orders instead of the person standing in front of them. I won't be returning.

Had to change my previous rating. Used to love Mr Sub but it's gone way downhill. They're skimping on the meat now, folding slices in half and using less. Subs just taste like bread and condiment now. We've noticed it every time we get a sub here lately. Time to find somewhere new.
