First of all... the karaage... so freaking good... like id come back just for it... Enjoyed the fact that the edemame was super hot/seasoned perfectly when it came and not over cooked. I had the spicy miso and the wife had the tokyo shoyu paitain (something like that), you can tell that they use high quality ingredients (pork belly was my fave). But being used to pork bone broths, we didn't 100% love our ramen... they were ok but my wife's had a weirdish taste to it that we both weren't used to, and the wife thought that hers was a tad bit on the overly salty side... we'll definitely try it again and taste something else!
Our waiter Patrick promised us over the moon soup bowls like we never had before. I call B S l could make better with .99 cent package from the grocery store and stick an egg and some veggies in it. $19.50 are you kidding me???? Also 12 bucks for a non alcoholic drink. Holy gouge.

Mystic Ramen is a truly exceptional dining experience. The high ratings are well-deserved! The menu boasts high-quality dishes, and I highly recommend adding an egg to any bowl – it's the perfect accompaniment.
We tried the popular Tantanmen, and while it was decent, the broth wasn't quite to our liking. The gluten-free version of the Tantanmen was well-executed, showcasing the restaurant's excellent understanding of dietary restrictions.
The Unagi Don was delicious, though the portion size might be considered small by some. The Vegan Tamari or Vegan Spicy Miso (I can't recall which we ordered) was also very enjoyable. While the food was excellent, it's the service that truly sets Mystic Ramen apart. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive, providing a level of service that is truly exceptional.
I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing Mystic Ramen for yourself. It's a truly memorable dining experience.

I had never had authentic Ramen before coming here, and this place changed my life! I tried around a few other spots just to dabble, of course, but I ALWAYS came back here. It is truly the BEST ramen in Hamilton! Not to mention the owners and staff are great people and extremely friendly! I’ll always recommend this spot to anyone who doesn’t know! So good!!!

An inspired choice by my partner to celebrate her birthday. Our first trip to Mystic was terrific. All the food was delicious - no leftovers, sadly. Several of us had the Jack Frost Fizz from the Christmas mocktail menu and others Sake, a Paper Crane, or soft drinks. I had three small plates - Wafu Broccoli, Mini Chashu Don, and Kaarage (half order). All were really good. Others had Kaarage (full order), Chashu Pork Belly Don,.and my partner had the Spicy Miso (with a Ramen Egg naturally). The staff really add to the upbeat positive vibe at Mystic. Paige was so friendly and helpful. We have several kids with dietary restrictions, and it always boosts a restaurant experience when the front of house staff and kitchen very obviously treat dietary restrictions as needs, not requests. Thanks, Paige! Even on Monday evening visit, Mystic was packed over the dinner rush - a reservation would be a good idea.
