This is our local Persian restaurant and they do a very good koobideh. Their dough and appetizers are also very tasty and be sure to try the kashk bademjun and zeytun parvarde. I’m not sure of the chef is Iranian or not but the food lacks a certain authenticity to it which can be disappointing at times such as our last visit. I ordered the kabob torsh which should be marinated in a pomegranate walnut sauce overnight however as the food was served it was obvious the kabob was cooked and the sauce added afterward. The beet and pistachio salad however was tremendous.

We will be sticking to koubideh here and that’s not a bad thing

SO rude. falsely advertised gluten free menu and then IDing my family and I when we are clearly 21 and over. pompously and thinks they are above everyone. we left and didn’t even order . what a joke. not loyal to locals.

One of the only few Persian places In Hamilton.

It's a little bit on the mid price range. Main courses are over $20 dollars. Which is high in this economy. The portions are pretty decent though.

It was interesting and it was good/satisfactory.
Nothing really blew my mind. But It was good food.

I will say this. I feel with Persian food, places like this might not know how to market Persian food well. Because certain Persian dishes would go with a whole bunch of small dishes. For example, fasenjoon, it's too rich on its own, when you just give a giant plate of rice + fasenjoon It feels like you would need to get it with a whole bunch of other dishes maybe?. This is just my opinion when it comes to Persian food in Canada. The Lamb shank was okay, I do wish they put barberries in the rice. Other than that again, it's just a piece of lamb with rice. You need to order or put things with it like veggies or something else authentic on the side. This is my only criticism with Persian food in places like this. It's good to come here and share with a bunch of people different things since some of the authentic solo dishes kinda
Don't make sense to eat on your own.

There's definitely potential in this place, they could even make the food tastier if they wanted to.

IF YOU ARE HAVING DOUBT ABOUT GOING HERE READ THIS :)- i usually never leave review for restaurants, but this place is so stellar I felt I had to. The portion sizes for all the main dishes are huge, and I always have left overs (and I can eat A LOT). Yes, the apps are small, but that’s the whole point of appetizers!! What they lack in size they make up for in flavour. Some people don’t enjoy the taste of the spices but even if it’s not your style you cannot deny the quality. Amazing service, great atmosphere, and food that makes it one of my top picks in the west end ( I eat out a lot, trust me on this guys). Great vegetarian options as well!! Ignore the bad reviews, unless of course you have no taste or are afraid of trying something new. If you made it this far sorry I rambled I’m just a big fan

Edit - although I hate to comment on this at all it appears that some accounts think I’m a fake account because I’ve only left one review !! 1. I’m a very real person with no connection to this restaurant so please don’t negatively mention my name in your reviews,,,2. LIKE I SAY IN THE FIRST LINE- I never leave reviews I usually don’t have the time or review on instagram. So yes I only have one google review. Please chill out- these are google reviews it’s not that deep

The yoghurt and olives were good. However, the chicken kabob was dry and the minced meat kabobs were tasteless. Great ambience and service though.

we ordered a veg wrap, and got hair in our food. After telling the manager, they offered us with only a 15% discount and that too after asking for it. They made us pay for food with hair! This restaurant does not know how to deliver customer service. Would not recommend.

Today, I came to your restaurant during lunch, and once again, I was met with disappointing behavior from your female employee. This isn’t the first time this has happened. The first time, I chose not to say anything, but this is now the second time I have experienced unprofessional attitude. She placed the payment machine on the table so aggressively, and her entire behaviour came across as rude and disrespectful. I understand that everyone can have a bad day or may not be in the best mood, but at the workplace, it's important to remain professional and respectful toward customers. As a customer, I expect better treatment, and it’s clear she lacks the professionalism and doesn’t know how to be respectful toward customers. I suggest you address this issue to ensure your staff knows how to treat customers respectfully.
