I popped into this place after work, and I'm going to agree with the other reviews - it's great. Local, homemade, Chinese food. The owners are extremely friendly.

Awesome authentic Northern Chinese food! I am surprised I didn't know this gem until today.

We ordered the most popular dishes: roujiamo, liangpi and dumplings with sour soup. They are amazingly good! The juice and fattiness in the roujiamo is perfect. Liangpi, aka cold noodles, is great for summer. As a Chinese, it's my first time trying dumplings in sour soup and it doesn't disappoint me.

The owners are incredibly friendly. They recommended dishes for us and made sure the food had the right spicy level. They also introduced other dishes to us which I am definitely gonna try next time!

Overall, we love the authentic food and homely atmosphere.

When the food arrived, it was already a bit smelly. It's not fresh, it's a bit nauseating and makes me vomit when I put it in my mouth. Restaurants cannot guarantee the freshness of ingredients, which is a potential health issue in the summer.

The owner / chef was great, dined in on a really light day, and had fun chatting with him while getting suggestions for food.The liangpi was great, tasted authentic, and I loved the 茄汁炸酱面.
