Half of the menu items wasn’t there. So we end up drinking beer and martini .We had a chance to try their sweet potato fries as well. It was unique and we liked it.

Stopped off after hiking the escarpment rail trail and was met with pleasant staff member and inviting atmosphere although it was 3pm in the midweek. My companion and I both ordered the chicken sandwich.I enjoyed it and it was filing but my companion not so much. We both agreed it could have been seasoned a bit more for our taste or had some hot sauce as an accompaniment. The fries were very good.

Came here very late on Saturday night, probably around 11:30, place only had a couple people, the hostess said we had just missed their big night rush! I got the pepperoni pizza, and my buddies got the smash burgers, we also a pitcher of sangria for the table. Honestly food was pretty good, fries had some seasoning on them that tasted amazing, plus they were fresh cut. Pizza came out very hot, but tasted good! Service was great, the waitress made sure we had everything we needed and came to check in on us a couple times, also the ambience of the low lighting was very cool, very much an upscale place.

Came here today after an impulsive decision to get lunch. I’ll keep it short and sweet. Everything on the menu is extremely overpriced for the quality of food you are getting. We got the chicken anejito bites. Literally just pillsbury crescent dough wrapped around pimento cheese and bruschetta. Chicken Bruschetta pizza was flavourless and just didn’t make sense, tasted like mayo drizzled on top? If it was a garlic aioli, there definitely was no garlic in there. The bottom also had a bitter burnt taste, and not like an artisanal wood fire oven taste. Espresso martinis were good. Our waitress didn’t really check on us but she was nice. Also our food took 30-40 minutes to come out even though we were one of three tables in the restaurant in the afternoon. My advice would be to skip this place for the flavourless and overpriced food, not trying to be harsh, but I am a very frequent restaurant goer and this just did not live up to the standards that were expected with the prices displayed. Maybe try something I didn’t, stop by for a cocktail, and be on your way.Parking: Paid street parking

We decided on this pub because it was close to the arena and the upscale Tavern menu looked interesting.Got there, got the menu and couldn't read it because the place is so dark. Waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come back to take the drink order. Saw a shiny row of beer taps so I asked what's on tap. The response was "nothing". Excuse me, no beer on tap at a "Tavern". Only domestic beers in bottles, no local micro beers, nothing. Our dinner came and the shrimp Po boy was delicious. One of our friends ordered fish and chips and it came out 10 minutes after the rest of the meals and only after we asked where it was. When it came to the table it wasn't edible. They took it off the bill. How does a Tavern not have beer on tap or know how to make a simple fish and chips? Maybe it was an off night? I can't say I would go back or recommend this place to others.

The blackened salmon with white wine risotto was delicious. Our son got the seafood pasta and it was outstanding. If you can't decide between dishes, opt for one with the chef hat logo. Drool-worthy.

Curry fries were burnt to a crisp, wings became mush as we waited for the curry fries they forgot to cook. BUT, I've eaten there on non busy nights and its great. I would rather have good food than rushed food any day of the week. Will be back...on a non busy night. Update WILL NEVER BE BACK..ORDERED 2 PIECE OF FISH $30 bucks (MUSH)AND CHIPS AND IT CAME WITH literally 22 FRENCH FRIES...ABSOLUTE ROBBERY and the meal was gross. As a family run business pay attention to the details, don't rip people off. DO better.

My partner and I went here to eat in the evening and got myself fish and chips while he got the smash burger with a side of parmesan cheese fries and an espresso martini. Overall, the food was great, and we both loved our food. The fish and chips were pretty good, but the batter was too thin, so it was falling apart and not too crunchy as you expect a fish and chip would look like, which is crispy. It was also slightly oily, and my sweet potato fries were a bit soggy and not crispy or maybe that's just how sweet potatoes are when fried. Atmosphere-wise, it was cozy, and customer service was excellent. I understand it's a restaurant & bar. However, the place smelt like cigarettes since people come in and out of the building to smoke. I still recommend this place for others to try!
