Best coffee in town! Cute little place. Great baked goods, I love the buckwheat brownie! I usually get my sourdough bread here, super clean ingredients. The eggs are good as well!
Great pies at Soup-er Pie Co. It's that souper guy seeking souper pies!

Love coming to shop for your lovely breads, plants, coffee and so much more!
Friendly staff with local foods (though not too many options) and a big space. Came for lunch but they were out of sandwiches, so I went for a smoothie. They have free wifi and a big patio, as well as some tables/bar inside and a big garage door that can be open for a nice breeze in the summer. They also have a “good share” box outside that you can donate food to or take if you need it.
A must visit while in the area. Fantastic selection of organic and local bakery, grocery, and dairy. There is a cafe with a few tables to sit and relax after shopping in the area.
Moved from nearer to Strathcona Market (which I loved) over to Ottawa market and have been generally disappointed every time with the to go food. Today we got the 2 for 1 almond croissants. Granted they are on sale, in a bag, so not going to be fresh (and the fresh ones are delicious!).. but these were so stale they were crunchy, and also a bit burnt. It's like they just left the bad ones out and then decided to sell them for 5 dollars after three days. I probably wouldn't have taken them for free had I known.
Very cute spot on Ottawa Street. Their coffee bar is lovely with a nice selection of espresso drinks and baked goods. Their grocery section has a variety of high quality items, including breads, frozen items and beer.
The coziest little coffee house ever. The vibe is brilliant for writers to get inspired. The staff are like family; the coffee and treats are to die for! Get your organic products there. Oh ya, you can purchase flowers and plants too. See you there :)
Grateful to find this gem. Great vibes, good coffee, croissants, local + organic produce, small collection of beautifully curated items for home, even some frozen items and wine. In warmer weather - there is even a small patio. Yes - wifi too! Don’t forget to bring your own mug to get 50 cents off your favourite espresso drink!

Ottawa Market in Hamilton is truly a gem! The setting is absolutely delightful, making it a joy to visit. The food is not just fresh but also incredibly delicious, leaving you craving for more. What makes this place even more special is its commitment to sustainability and its focus on Mother Earth. They have an on-site refillery, which is a fantastic touch, and they clearly take pride in sourcing the best products. A special shoutout to my friend, Phil Winters, whose GoodLot beer is featured here—another reason to love this place. Well done, team! I highly recommend The Ottawa Market to everyone and give it a solid high five!
Delicious coffee and pastries, friendly service. Love that they encourage bringing your own mug and also sell refills for soap and other cleaning products. So many great things about Ottawa Market!
