Very disappointed with my lunch today. My shish taouk wrap had French fries in it in place of some chicken. It was basically 50/50 chicken and French fries.

It has been a while since I've eaten at Paramount. I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. The well portioned food was so amazing. It was a perfect location for lunch. I'll definitely be back!

I LOVE this place can never go wrong with paramount for any sort of night. chill night, birthday , girls night, any event paramount is your place and the staff is top tier so attentive to us and never make us wait long to get the food i literally love it.

I hope you are well. I am writing to share my concerns regarding a recent visit to the Paramount Fine Foods location on Upper James in Hamilton On November 26th Wednesday I had come in after the renovations, hoping to enjoy a pleasant dinner with my friend for her birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.

Despite the restaurant being completely empty at the time of our visit, the service was extremely slow. Our server did not bring us water for an unusually long period, and we had to call out multiple times just to receive a jug of water. This set the tone for the rest of the evening.

The quality of the food was also disappointing. The flavours were lacking, and the chicken dish in particular was overcooked, dry, and hard. Considering that the prices have increased following the renovation, the decline in taste and quality was quite surprising.

Additionally, when we needed tea and dessert, two staff members who were sweeping the floor ignored our attempts to get their attention, despite us repeatedly saying “excuse me.” My friend who is the birthday celebrant had to physically walk over to them to request assistance. There was also no acknowledgement of her birthday or any gesture of hospitality, which was disheartening.

Overall, the experience was embarrassing and disappointing, especially for a special occasion. Our bill came to $101 for just the two of us, and unfortunately, the service and food quality/size of the servings did not justify the cost. I truly hope that this feedback is taken seriously, as I have always appreciated Paramount’s quality in the past.
