The vegetarian stir fry or saltado is delicious 🤤😋 mango orange mocktail, too.

Our first time eating Peruvian food and we all enjoyed - fun to try something different! Excellent cocktails and delicious, flavourful food. Nice ambiance and attentive, helpful service. We were fortunate to meet the chef who gave us recommendations.

I almost gave this place 3 stars, the food was very mediocre, not bad but pretty fine.
We had the ceviche and picante de mariscos and one chicha drink. Serving sizes were pretty small for the exorbitant prices and flavor didn’t really wow us at all.
Service was okay. Lots of flies around even when dining inside which was a little annoying but I get that’s kinda out of their control. There was a mistake and our server didn’t understand we were ordering starters, but then she offered to comp our starter so all was good.
BUT- at the end of our meal, bills came out and the dish that was supposed to be comped showed up on one of our friends bill. And upon closer inspection we noticed that every single dish on our receipt was priced a couple dollars higher than the menu prices.
When asked about it our server said the menu changed today and so these are the new prices- just so everybody knows, the price on the menu is the price you pay- they cannot charge you a different price than what is listed without telling you upfront that the prices are going to be different. Also to the restaurant: If you’re going to update your prices- print new menus and then implement that.
Not sure I even believe that the prices are updated, it felt very scammy to me, seems like a way to sneak in a couple extra dollars and most patrons might not even notice it on their bills. Buyer beware at Peruviano, sorely disappointed and there’s no way I’ll be back.

Great food on a lovely patio tucked away from the street. The plantain tostones were a lovely appetizer, and the ceviche had very generous portions.

Always great service, great food. Eclectic and interesting menu. Vegan and vegetarian choices. Covid-safe patio is a hidden gem. Absolute favourite for summer get togethers.

Peruviano delivered one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had—service was careless, inattentive, and borderline dismissive, while the food was shockingly poor: bland, lukewarm, and clearly reheated. What should have been a celebration felt like an afterthought in a place that completely failed on every basic standard of hospitality and cuisine.
