After a long overtime shift at work my boss and I decided to try out Philthy Philly's for the first time. Not so much a complaint, but more an observation, the dining area was relatively clean, but was in need of a tidy up, as was the washroom (it was a couple of hours before closing time when we arrived). I ordered the Big Eh! And was impressed with the preparation time and portion size. They have quite a variety of options on the menu if you're looking for something other than a cheesesteak.

This place is the most degrading to Canadians who know how to cook they like to argue about what you say is wrong with the order and blame the delivery person . I called and they hung up saying they are busy thier buns were microwaved they had sauces you didn't ask for the skip over the certain items you order. Then called me names on the phone I have waited like 3 years since this place opened to order from there and this is what I vet this is disgusting trying to tell me how to cook. Honestly the way they treat thier customers is very sad telling me they don't have time to listen to my complaint or even take responsibility what kind of people work here they are honestly the worst place I have ever ordered from and I will never order from here again.

Was here the first time August 7th 2024 my buddy and I had the 8 " cheesesteak . It was pretty good . The guy at the counter was busy with the t.v before he got around to us . The order came quick and hot but my buddy asked for mustard and they said it would be an extra charge for it . They heard him tell me with disbelief in his voice and brought some over to him . It was around noon that we were there and there were 2 people in the place we found that odd being it's lunch time .

Philthy's has crept up in price lately, but it's still quality food. One would not really expect my go-to vegetarian takeout to be here, but the Impossible Cheesesteak is pretty hard to beat.
Don't order through a food app like Skip if you can help it though... $10 for a poutine combo guys? What is this?

Used to go here pretty frequently, and it was pretty good. But now it seems like they changed ownership since the quality went downhill really bad. The buns were shriveled and soggy when they used to be fresh, there was hardly any meat when there used to be plenty, the sandwich was dry, and they removed the option for Cheese Whiz as a free topping (which was a really good addon)
In short, unless you can time travel a few years back, don't bother going here.
