Seems to be under new management. What was once 9/10 shawarma is now 6/10, while seeing a reduction in portion and an increase in price. Very dry with a weird aftertaste.

Phoenicia's has changed my view on Shawarma. There Shawarma's are incredible. The beef is the best that I have ever had. It's incredible and the people working are really nice. The garlic sauce is also super good in the Shawarma, even though it has a different texture. Phoenicia's is also very close to my school and is very underrated as most people go to the pizza pizza right beside. I very highly recommend the beef Shawarma, and you'll understand the absolute power of phoenicia.

Being a Montreal/ Ottawa transplant, I've been looking for great Lebanese shawarma for a while in Hamilton, and I've often been disappointed. I am so happy I heard about this restaurant, because this is what I was missing. The chicken sandwich that I had was the best one I've eaten in years. Excited to go back many times!

Whoa..Phoenicia Express is excellent. I had tried this little place several years ago and it was good but I hadn't ever went back. Today I stopped in to grab lunch with a coworker. He ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and I went with the chicken and rice dish. The staff/owner are some of the friendliest folks I've encountered in a restaurant. The chicken and rice plate was excellent. The rice and chicken were hot and fresh. The flavours of the pickled items, hot and garlic sauces really stand out. I think I've found my new go-to for work lunches. Thanks for a top tier experience!
Mann! This place is more than just stopping by to get gas. The food corner in there is the best ever. Owner and staff are super respectful, kind and easy going. Each time I stop by to fill up my tank I will also buy food there to take with me, and always the service is better and top notch.
All my family and friends i introduced to this place have also had the same beautiful and great experience. In my opinion this is how it should be when you deal with customers. I will always come back here guys; and also thank you for a few free extras I got you didn’t charge me for. 10/10 for me. ??

Best shawarma in Hamilton hands down! The fact that it's in a gas station may be a bit off-putting for some, but I promise it's worth it!
Staff are always super nice, and it's family-run so you'll often see the same people (which is great if you're a regular!)
Definitely a must try if you like shawarma!
