I've been here before and my experience was 10/10. The staff was fantastic. The atmosphere was great! Unfortunately this time our waitress was not at all the level of the other visit. Example, the much larger table beside us who arrived after us was served before us, tended to without asking, and got their bill before us. Our waitress did not check on us. We asked for our bill twice and waited longer than our time ordering and eating to receive it.
I would like to say their food is fantastic and worth the Sunday deal for sure. The last time was awesome so we will be back and hopefully with a different server.

Fun pub in central Hamilton that I went to because my friends just moved in nearby. Convenient spot to go bar hopping from since it's located next to several bars / pubs within walkable distance nearby.
The staff were great, and they had a delicious sour beer on the menu from Bellwoods Brewery. Hope they keep multiple sour options coming!

Recently had lunch on Augusta. Food was excellent, but unfortunately service not so good. Servers friendly, but salad and fish took 40 minutes to be served.

My partner and I were lucky enough to enjoy some drinks on the perfect fall day on the rooftop this past weekend - it was a little chilly but they had the porch heaters on and it was lovely. We also got dinner down below at the actual Plank Restaurant which was great. Service was extremely fast, drinks were amazing and the food was really good too! Our server was lovely (I think her name was Andy, I can't remember) the restaurant was quite busy when we were there but we felt attended to the entire time. Would definitely go back :)

Had a good time at the Plank. Food was awesome the server Mandy was too good. The food took some time so they did not charge for the drink. Will come again soon.
Love the rooftop, it's such a pretty place to hang with friends for drinks and bites to eat. I always get the coconut cream parfait to end off my night ?

Second time coming to this place in 1 week. The food is so good and different. If I didn't live an hour away, I would be a regular. The ONLY reason it doesn't get a 5 start for me, is because: 1. My steak was a chard on the outside. I did come pretty late, so maybe the grill wasn't as fresh. However, they paired it with this favoured butter and it was good. If it was done right, that would be a 10/10 meal. 2. The staff is super friendly but a touch slow. 3. My dessert was the peach cobbler and it came on the iron skillet. They did warn me to be careful, but after some double shots and whiskey sours it's hard to remember! So I burned myself twice. I would just suggest leaving a towel over the handle when they leave it on the table. Overall, definitely have to try this place!

I went out with friends this past Tuesday at 6:00 pm dinner and half way though our dinner the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other at ALL!! Way tooooo loud for an early evening dinner. Disappointing

We really enjoyed our meal. The portions were great and the prices were affordable. The poutine duck was surprisingly good, and I loved the perfectly cooked cauliflower fritters. The steak was prepared just the way we wanted it. The Baos were delicious, and the service was friendly. We loved the atmosphere.
Parking: The restaurant is located downtown, so paid street parking is in effect. On certain days of the week, parking is free.
