Had a nice time here, we visited the rooftop restaurant but they didn’t have any steak dishes so we decided to head to the restaurant downstairs. We had take a bao for starters, the buns were really soft and tasty. I had the “fish don’t kill my vibe” pan seared cod with potatoes, the fish was nicely cooked and seasoned but my potatoes were mostly undercooked, my husband had the steak dish and it delivered. The dessert was a nice way to wrap up the evening. And their prices are very reasonable

I had the misfortune of dining at this establishment, and while the ambiance desperately tries to whisper sophistication, it’s betrayed at once by the service—or rather, the lack thereof. Our server operated with all the charm and attentiveness of a coat rack. Requests were met with either blank stares or long absences, as if refilling a water glass required a pilgrimage to another province.
One expects a certain baseline of grace and competence when dining out, but instead we were treated to an experience that felt more like we were inconveniencing them by existing. Plates were unceremoniously dropped in front of us, questions about the menu went unanswered with anything beyond vague shrugs, and I began to wonder if eye contact was an upcharge I had neglected to agree to.
In short: the food may have tried to redeem the evening, but even the finest dish cannot outshine service so utterly devoid of care. Dining here felt less like a night out and more like punishment. Also, our server was Quan.
