The owner is very friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend’s family has been coming here to celebrate special occasions for over a decade and it never disappoints. The food was incredibly delicious, and they have a good variety for all appetites. I look forward to my next visit

Food took awhile but it was well worth it..
Even though we arrived just before our 6pm reservation and just as we finished our main course, at around 7:00 they came and gave us our bill without asking us if we wanted coffee or dessert?
Seemed very strange.. we were only there for just 1 hour??
After we paid the waitress then came and asked if we wanted coffee or dessert.. ?
Otherwise it was a fabulous meal.. and we would definitely come back …
Maybe just a overbooking situation as it was a Friday night..and they are only open from 5 to 9 pm..

Unbelievable! Drove all the way there and they are closed for holidays until September. Nothing online or on their phone message about the closure. Never Been there but been there twice now first and last!! Unreal!

Our 1st visit to the Purple Pear. Although dated inside, i can't say anything bad about the food or the service. The food was cooked to perfection, and not everyone can get seafood cook well. They did. Flavorful and well plated. Vegetables were lovely as was the chicken I had. Our party enjoyed the chicken and seafood in a creamy white wine sauce, salmon and chicken and mushroom Linguine. Nice portionnsize and enough to take home. A must try.

Always a pleasant dining experience at the purple pear.
We went to Purple Pear for a weekend dinner based on the nice reviews about the however food and service. The moment we got in we had a rather cold welcome for our initial seating. We felt very much like we were unwanted people there. No one smiles, and it felt like it was quick to get us out of the way with minimal service. It would be fine but for seeing other customers there that were getting a different, more friendly welcome. Could see owner and servers be friendly and go and talk to most of them. The food itself was good, and our server who took over our table was also very nice. But others seemed to have different attitude. I didn't feel comfortable and don't want to spend money in that place again.

We have gone there many times and always enjoyed the experience. This time was different. There were 7 of us and we had 5 different servers…. none communicating with the others. I can understand assistance bringing meals to the table but this was ridiculous PLUS service was SLOW AND NOT ATTENTIVE. Chicken parm was served with veggies and Alfredo sauce on the pasta. Not appropriate. Other meals were good but the general experience was not great.

Was amazing it’s been awhile since we came here the first time and fell in love with the restaurant as a whole. We finally found time to come back tonight and we’re so happy and full after. Food amazing service amazing our cups never went empty. Hopefully we’ll be back soon also love the environment
