My wife and I were in town for a show, and decided to eat at radius on Hess because of the reviews. We were NOT disappointed. *Excellent* food - this is not an independent version of a Milestones or Keg. We couldn't have been happier with our meal. The service was prompt, friendly, and provided expert recommendations when asked (eg wine pairing). More than our waitress was involved in our service - it's always reassuring to see a genuine team approach to service at a good restaurant. The ambiance was decent, but not quite up to the standard of the food and service. We will definitely eat there again when the opportunity presents itself!

It was a wonderful experience. We sat on the patio. It was a great day from start to finish. Everyone was attentive. Food was great drinks were even better. It was our anniversary and I think this place will become a tradition for us.

A great lunch. One of our orders was delivered incorrectly, forgot the side salad, but was quickly and easily corrected.

Lobster linguini was perfectly cooked and loaded with lobster- fabulous choice!!! Hamberger (which I dont usually order) was a a frsh steamed bun and loaded with just the right amount of toppings, so it was not spilling over. Fries were hot and crispy. You have to try the lemonade...I think they must have a lemon tree outback 15 people in the resteraunt and noice was not evident anywhere. We'll be back for sure. 10/10.

We had a table for six for a mid-week lunch. It wasn't busy at that time, so there was only a single server who could have used some help. That's the only criticism, though: the atmosphere is great, and the food is well-executed.

Radius is always a great place for a meal...from the personable servers, to the spectacular selection of good eats. My wife and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary there on Aug 19 2025...we try to re-visit Radius as our wedding took place there on Aug 19 2023. Matt and his crew do an amazing job everytime. The smash burger was superb and Carrie enjoyed deep fried goat cheese bites. Amazing job by the kitchen staff as usual Thank you for the complimentary champagne too. We will continue to return to this fine establishment many more times. Cheers

We had a party of 5 on the outdoor patio. Everyones order came within reasonable time and all dishes were fabulous. Server Morgan was great.

Was excited to visit the new spot on Hess, haven't been to Radius in a while. Cocktail and wine list was great as usual, and the menu was filled with many great looking options. One of us had the Miso Honey Salmon, which was spectacular. I, on the other hand was reluctant, however very interested in Black Cod used in Fish & Chips. I should have stayed with my gut instinct, which was Black Cod should never be deep fried. It was very disappointing, heavy and very greasy battered fish on top of 6 (ish) french fries. We also shared the Soulful Wings which were amazing! This is not a bad review of the restaurant, but rather the dish. I look forward to coming back and trying something else as the menu looks amazing.

I am not usually a person to leave reviews of any sort, but considering I have come to Radius a handful of times in the past year and every experience has been equally negative, I felt that this was necessary.
The first experience that stood out to me is when I decided to come for lunch with a friend I had not seen in a while. I did not make a reservation as it was 1:00pm on a weekday but I made sure to check that the restaurant was open online. To my suprise when I arrived and entered through the door I was met immediately by a man shouting “What are you doing here?” Great way to greet customers! I proceeded to tell him that I came for lunch when he interrupted to say they were closed for a private event and practically nudged me out the door. He appeared very hostile and annoyed with me until I told him that it said they were open to the public on google, to which he responded “Oh really? I have to go fix that then” and turned around and left, locking the door behind him.
While this experience was unsettling itself, I figured it was just a misunderstanding and chose to come again two nights ago. My time was just as bad. I came with another friend and made a reservation for two on the patio at around 7:15 pm. Our server was super sweet and helpful but there was a lot of confusion specifically around ordering our drinks; to where it had to be taken back because ingredients were forgotten and drinks we had gotten many times before came out looking and tasting completely different. Not to mention that constantly picking up the cups and placing them back down had caused so much of the drinks to spill onto the top of our table. It is clear this was not purposeful, but I feel like especially coming to a place where it is a bit on the pricier side you expect a different kind of service. Our main problem arose when we paid and left for the night and I saw the man I had encountered last time standing by the patio stairs, as my friend and I left we looked at him and said “Thankyou! Have a good night.” to which he proceeded to stare at us blankly, almost looking astonished that we were speaking to him. I’m not sure if it is because we are young or not but I have come to Radius so much and recieve this treatment every time without fail. I don’t know if this guy is the manager/owner or what but he really needs to work on his customer service, attitude, and the way he presents himself to customers because after all of my attempts I will most definitely not be trying again. There are better places to spend your money and time in Hamilton!
