Saturday afternoon. We were walking on Hess and saw this concert. Jazz, they were playing very well. We decided to sit there to appreciate it. The service was really good. The waitress was happy and received us with a smile.We got a coq au vin and a steak frites. The plates taste good but was not what we expected. The chicken was shared and served like a soup in a bun. And the steak was cooked right but really small portion with few hash brown.Actually the environment is really good, but it doesn't worth the price. I read a article on Facebook where the owner was asking for help, I really believe they should review the plates and ask the customers about their experience and what should change.

This place is just so welcoming. It’s only the second restaurant I’ve been to since moving here from Montreal. The owner is so friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious, in my opinion. Not to mention, the portion of the Coq au Vin was very generous.Merci, Chloé, pour ce délicieux souper!

We have been to this restaurant 3 times and I would keep going but the service is so bad, after the last time I have finally given up on this place. The service is getting worse with every visit. We were the only table in the whole restaurant but were mostly ignored. We finally ordered drinks, by the time we got our food the drinks were done and I couldn't get another. I ordered the vegetarian ratatouille (the only option for vegetarian) and it's good but essentially vegetables in tomato sauce so I was happy it also came with a salad. I realized part way through they forgot my salad, and when I advised the server she laughed and kind of apologized saying she was busy because she's cooking in the kitchen and serving. I'm an understanding type of person but we were the only table and there appear to be at least 3 other people working there however, I'm not sure what they do. I never got the salad and I was charged full price. We wanted to order dessert but we were again ignored. We left hungry and paid $150.

Food is magnificent, small restaurant with good vibes. An awesome jazz band every Saturday from 7-11 pm.I wanted Sangria but it wasn’t on the menu so Chloe went out of her way and made a delicious pitcher for me..! If you are craving for delicious French food, then this is where you should go.

My friends and I gathered to celebrate a birthday at Chez Chloe.It was the best choice EVER. The 8 of us shared all of the menu items, plus the special. The food, ambience, Live Jazz trio, and our Hostess were all AMAZING !!

A charming restaurant tucked into Hess Village! The food was incredible, ambiance was cozy it was lovely getting to chat to Chloe herself! I highly recommend this place for some delicious eats! I’ll definitely have to come back again and try the brunch.

This place was one of the worst French restaurants I have ever visited. The taste of the food was not even moderate. The waiting time for just one soup was around 50 minutes. So, I do not recommend this place at all.

It's been a real pleasure to eat here twice already! I really love the atmosphere and amazing French cuisine. We went here for mother's day brunch and great options to choose from. I highly recommend anyone to go and enjoy a European style relaxing day!

I seldom leave a bad review but Mothers Day brunch was very disappointing. Food was fine not great, small portions but tasty, however the service was awful. Coffee when it finally came was lukewarm, no one every came back to offer refill. Food arrived and then we did not see waitstaff again until we asked for our bill. Worst of all was a hair on one of the plates and no one to complain to. Would not return unfortunately, just a disappointment all around

This family owned establishment is not only classy, but represents good value for quality food, with an awesome ambiance and delightful customer service. My spouse and I travel to Hamilton often and this is the restaurant we love to go for supper. We're always welcomed with open arms by Chloe, and she always makes a huge effort to accommodate us. Here's the best part: The Food. We travel a lot in our industry, and we want to eat food that's both healthy and tastes good. You've got it here. This isn't pub grub, nor is it price gouging 'bougie' hipster restaurant. This is a very straight-up, quality, loving, passionate, friendly, fun, date-night, restaurant. It feels like home when we go. Thank you, please never change! 12/10!P.S. Try the cream salad!

Wonderful service, the food was fantastic a must try for if you like French cuisine. It is small but wasn't very busy at all which made for a very relaxing meal. We will definitely be back for another meal in the future.
