Great experience! Food was terrific. Tasted like we were in England. Server was down to earth. Atmosphere was relaxed. Some of the benches could use updating/repair, but overall great experience.

Used to be a great place. Needs to be refreshed. #1 item was "sold out" and prices are too high for the quality of the atmosphere and food. We left before ordering food. Paid $30 for 2 drinks. Ouch! Parking lot paint is nearly illegible so people park wherever.

It's a good little pub, very cozy, sat right by the fire which was heavenly. I wish they had a little more on there menu though. The food we got was really good.

Passing through Waterdown and was in the mood for some pub fare, lucky me. Came in just before the lunch crowd and was able to order quickly. Clarissa was very friendly and attentive, not just to me but all the customers. Great food, great experience!

Had the pleasure of having lunch with dear friends. We were treated like gold. They remembered our guests and said welcome back.
The Cajun Haddock was great and gluten free! The Greek salad was delicious. Our friends had the chicken salad sandwich and fries. As well as the seafood soup with beer bread. Yummy! We shared a bottle of Savignon Blanc wine.
Since we hadn't gotten together for a fair bit we had alot to catch up on.
At no point was our meal rushed. We were welcome to stay as long as we wanted.
Thank you Carissa and the chefs and staff who took such great care of us!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian curry, salads. Found they would modify most anything.

Dietary restrictions: We are on low salt diets. And 1 of is were gluten intolerant.

We are glad to have come upon this great pub. We live in Kitchener but will make the drive back again for sure. Best fish (n chips) I've had in a long time! Great banter at the bar, how a pub should be. Cheers!

We have attended the Coachman a few times. Tonight my dinner choice was fried chicken, mashed and coleslaw. The carrots, corn and potatoes were good. Coleslaw was delicious, very creamy. I was not fond of the chicken. Found it to be burning one side and mushy inside. My hubby ordered fish and chips. Chips were done to perfection. He was not fond of the food sh as the batter was a little undercooked inside. All in all service was good and meal came quickly.

I’ve been here multiple times. Mainly with my wife and son and but also with a couple buddies. Every time I come to the patio with my wife and son service is never really that great. But today was the worst. To be honest I’ve never felt so unwanted in an establishment. I was seated right away while my wife changed our son in the car. 20 minutes goes by with me trying to get someone’s attention without being rude- a waitress comes by and says someone will be with us shortly. No apology, or anything. To be honest it was kind of rude. Clearly they knew we were sitting there unattended for a while. 5 minutes after that a waitress comes by and serves us. She did her job to the bare minimum I’d say. Wasn’t very friendly, no apologies added for our long wait, we literally felt like a burden the entire time we were there. I’ve come later at night with my buddies and everything is fine, but I come during the day with my wife and 9 month old son and we’re treated like bottom tier. I don’t understand it. Everyone else around us had no problem receiving what seemed like good service. What should’ve been my wife and I having a good time out on a patio turned to be a downer of a time cut short.

I have been here twice and each time the food is absolutely delicious! Their outdoor patio is my favourite! The flowers are beautiful and the high top Maskoka tables are extremely comfortable. Parking is suffice in the back lot. I love the variety of their menu. It’s not cheap, but it is worth it. My husband is hard to impress and he loved his meal (mushroom and Swiss burger).
