Spent time in second cup bought a large drink and later a sandwich. Pretty good and decent price. My issue with the establishment was the rude manager who kicked me and a friend out for staying longer for 2 hours. While i understand it is a business, the way we were spoken to and watched till we left was very bothersome. We had bought multiple drinks and I was about to buy another until our table was grabbed onto and tapped on by the manager and said that we must be paying customers to stay. Even though we had explained we have bought multiple drinks/food items we were still asked to leave. It was not busy and there were plenty of seats to go around so this was not the issue. While i understand it is a business, two students studying in the corner is not going to impede on that and if anything we were about to spend more. Reading other reviews it is clear that there is no decency unless you have paid for it. I will not return.

PS: it's been a well known fact that transit operators world wide have been using washrooms at coffee shops and fast food places for decades, even establishments that have them as "for paying customers only". this yes was a gesture of goodwil as these operators are the ones who bring your staff you compensate the minimum pay legally allowed to fill your coffer. it's only been the last few years washrooms been locked off due to increase in drug use in them, made even worse by the pandemic.
don't expect many people to return for a "second cup" from you
Will never go there again! The manager was rude and pretentious and should NOT be working in the service industry! Honestly folks there's a Starbucks and a Williams Coffee House 5 minutes away from this place, you'd be better off going to one of them.

It’s understandable that not all the washrooms are for public use as the state of Hamilton is questionable at best these days … but to outright deny a visibly pregnant transit operator the opportunity to use a washroom is absolutely deplorable! This individual works for the city transporting customers to this location all day every day and has extremely limited access to a washroom. Being pregnant makes these situations much more difficult to manage in these situations and she would likely be a customer at any time through the course of her career. This is completely unacceptable. I will not return. There is no room for that type of nonsense and small minded thinking.
