We ordered for father's day, we picked up the food, it was packed well so it wouldn't fall over in my car. The food itself was tasty. Good sized portions, food was hot when I picked it up. My only thing was I found it to be quite pricey for what we bought. However I do believe in supporting a family owned business, so the price to me is what you get for homemade food:)

Shanghai has always been our go to for Chinese food, however, the last couple times have not been great. This last time, the food had no flavour and was just awful. So disappointing We will never order from here again

We phoned in our order and picked it up. The food was ready and instead of 2 adults and 3 children to eat, we had relatives show up so we ended up with 2 more adults. Everyone loved the food and the quantities. It was better than all the other places we ordered from. Thank you.

I should have walked out when,after admiring the spider plant in the front room the lady proceeded to pull out a webcam and put it directly on me like was going to speak some of the babies off it after tasting the food I won’t be ordering from here again. I don’t know what they use in their wonton soup but it wasn’t bbq pork… the batter on the breaded shrimp was inedible and just to make the experience even better I have been on the toilet with a bucket in my lap for hours NEVER AGAIN

I bought a dinner for 1 with chicken balls, pork and rice. Omg, terrible. Chicken ball sauce was Grosse, rice was terrible and pork was blah. Chicken balls were big and good without the sauce. I will not order from there again.

I was very disappointed. The food was terrible. Vegetables were soggy; the general chicken had very little sauce and was also soggy. The fried rice was dry. We ordered at 9pm but I think all the food was sitting around for hours. We wasted $80. Lesson learned.

We get Shanghai Chinese food every single Christmas and it's fantastic. It is quite wonderful, special rice is superb, even their dry garlic spare ribs are totally awesome. I'm super happy they are part of my Christmas tradition.
I have disrespect your order from door dash and doesn't take 1hr and then you close and don't keep updates or anything now my food are cold to get to me after i oder a soup and noodles how can you do this and This not right show some dame respect to your customer. I am not removing my grade rating. All your door dash giving a dam 5.00. Since it never came to me snd still dam cold. I will let people will never ever order from your dam restaurant here. DISRESPECT

We get delivery only, and the food containers are always FULL to the brim! Always friendly, always quite fast delivery, always hot, fresh and excellent.
We get the beef egg foo young, sechwan beef, awesome spring rolls (so well priced!), pork won ton soup, beef and broccoli, beef fried rice, battered shrimp, sweet and sour chicken balls, and for non online phone delivery they add FREE order of Excellent chicken wings, which are huge and great!
Always lots of plum sauce, soy, and hot sauce packets, and big container of plumb sauce.
I have no idea why anyone would write a bad review of Shanghai since we have had dozens of orders from them and every single time the food and quality and fully packed containers has been consistent and fantastic.
And just compare the prices to others like mandarin and the other Chinese food places and you see they are still way cheaper per item even though prices have gone up a bit in the last 2 years.
We love them and we THANK YOU Shanghai for many years of great food and friendly service. Sorry it took us so long to write this review.
The pictures they posted, does not look like the food. It’s not good at all. We live close and was excited but when we ordered, the food was disgusting plus they charge extra for chop sticks and fortune cookie. Like really! The people in my building said they told me so!
