This should not be called shawarma royale… it should be called oil tank royale … everything is soaked in oil. The sandwiches, the meat, the chicken … the only thing missing oil was the alleged coleslaw … or maybe it had some oil and we could not feel it from overdosing on all the other oily things… oh … and it is not even cheap … maybe he thinks he is selling oil at a gas station …

This place has really gone downhill. It used to be something to look forward to. The dinning room is filthy. I had to wipe down and clean the table/chair myself. It wasn't just the last person left some crumbs no i checked the tables around me and they had had filthy stained chairs too. Most of it came out with a wet paper towel when I cleaned it. Look up, everything is covered in a nice layer of dust. The washroom looks like the landlord special, I'm afraid to touch the sink, might fall off from being held on with 5 inches of caulking.
They are running a 'new promotion', where they allegedly lowered the prices of their queen wraps. However, you learn real quick that this is a lie. The size of sandwiches were absolutely tiny. No meat, no sauce even. When I asked why they were so small i learned that it's because I bought at the promotional price not the regular price. This is literally false advertising, nowhere does it say you get less food at the promo price. They did not lower their prices, they gave you a whole different sandwich than what you think you're getting under the guise of promotional prices.
It's sad because they actually had a good product but the last little while this location has really gone downhill. At one point they were charging for pomegranate molasses, napkins, ketchup, etc when other locations weren't. All it takes is one bad franchise owner to ruin it for the franchise. Sad because the food is actually good or at least it was actually good. Anyways, I'd recommend any of the competitors, we have plenty of good options now, we don't need to put up with bad franchise owners who want to pinch pennies instead of tend to quality.

One of my kids likes shawarma, but the other doesn’t. We noticed chicken tenders on the menu, so we all agreed to go to Royale Shawarma. We ordered chicken shawarma, which was good. However, my kid who chose the chicken tenders said they tasted like Mina or frozen Zabiha chicken. I tried them too, and she was right. She ended up not eating dinner, it was disappointing.
This particular Royal sharoma located and Hamilton, is one of the best. I've been to some other locations. And I believe the people at this location really truly love making good food. I have not gone there once and the food has not been amazing. Allegedly stop on my journey. And go. Get food there on my way or to home or from but I make a stop on my journey if I'm never traveling and wait in the direction of coming or going from because this particular sharoma wild is very good. They cook the chicken very good. The beef very good. The ingredients are fresh a can't speak for the other ones that i've been to but this one is amazing

Food is great but I had to throw out the whole fries I bought as the oil quality is very low and I can feel it on my fries , guy if you really care about your customers please don’t feed them poison just because you want to save some money, you could have earned 5 stray if you are not this desperate for saving can of oil.
