Shelby's Legendary Shawarma - Hamilton

Very disappointing experience at Shelby Restaurant. The food quality did not match the price—meals came out cold and lacked flavor. The portions were small compared to what’s advertised, and the presentation looked rushed.

Service was also poor. We waited far too long to be seated and then even longer for our food, despite the restaurant not being very busy. The staff seemed inattentive and not welcoming at all.

The atmosphere had potential, but between the noise, slow service, and average food, it simply wasn’t enjoyable. For the price they charge, I expected much better. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

The chicken in the Sharma tasted of liver, probably cooked with the giblets mixed in. Perhaps healthy but awful taste

Ordered through Uber, food was dry and the quantity was half of what I used to get when I ordered in person. So shameful.

I've had it three times, and unfortunately the way they season the meat isn't for me, it comes across very what I believe to be cinnamon heavy which I don't think compliments the other flavours of the shawarma

I ordered a bowl with mixed chicken and beef plus vegetables, and it was delicious! The taste was fresh and flavorful. This was my first time visiting Shelby’s, and I really liked it. I’ll definitely come back again!

Really good shawarmas, bread is made fresh on the spot. Portions are huge and the staff are SO nice! :) will definitely be back when in town.

I recently started going here and LOVE the food. I have Celiac Disease, so I can't have any Gluten and the majority of their food is gluten-free which is great. My go-to is the SHAWARMA TIKKA MASALA and of course, I can't have the bread because of my allergy which sucks. However, the one female worker that I always see gives me extra chicken to make up for it at no extra charge which is amazing. I will definitely keep coming back.

Went to Shelby’s Shawarma for dinner and honestly, it hit the spot. The chicken was super juicy and packed with flavour. Portions are big enough that you leave full but not sluggish.The service was quick, even though it was busy, and everyone behind the counter was friendly. Prices are reasonable too, especially for how much food you get.

Half the time I order from here, they don't fill their bowls to the point it'll feel half full with sparse protein. Sometimes they do and it's great.

I have paid for extra chicken in my last three orders, but it was not added each time. At this point, I am beginning to feel that this is being done intentionally, since the first time could be a mistake, the second a repeat, but the third seems like a choice. I strongly recommend that you address this matter immediately.
