Rude and discriminatory owner. Think twice if you decide to go there with a group that belongs to the same minority ethnic group as yourself and speak in a foreign language because the owner won’t like it and will look for an excuse to kick you out using the sick racist negative stereotypes he has towards different minority groups. I will never be back. The owner clearly has his “preference” for customers who come from a privileged background like himself.

Loved the place until I met the racist owner, Jordan Geertsma, who judges you for belonging to a minority group and speaking a different language and accuses you of belonging to a cartel. Looking pretty tired ... place was pretty crowded before a show at the Westdale theater and they did not seem to be prepared ... staff were flying around to keep up but there simply were not enough to handle the crowd ... food was OK but prices did not reflect the food quality ... prices ... high end ... quality ... low end ... The Snooty Fox could do better

Love this bar, always such a good time! This place is usually jam-packed for a reason but the servers have always busted their butts to give great service! Great food too, TRY THE SHEPPARD'S PIE!

Your typical University local pub. Cold beers on tap and good service. Parking can be a bit tough but there's plenty around the corner. Had the wings and nachos. Pretty decent.

Visited this place about a month ago. Had been in town from the states for about a month and half. Met up with some friends to eat and drink here. It seemed like a busy and popular college hangout.
But probably THE WORST FOOD and rip off I've had in the Hamilton area.
The "1 lb chicken wings" were literally 5 pieces, for $15!!! Far from their menu talking up how big and juicy their wings are! LMFAO.
The Jalapeño poppers, didn't even have jalapeños in then. They were red peppers! Like seriously?!?! And it was like 4 or 5 pieces i think? For $10 or more, I honestly forgot cause I was in shock.
Good thing the american dollar goes a long ways in canada otherwise I really would have felt more cheated than I already did.

Came in at 8:15 on September 10th with my friends hoping to grab a couple appetizers. We were told we would get ID’ed at 9. Upon seating at 8:15 the waitress dropped the menus on our table, no greeting and asked for our ID’s. One of my friends didn’t have her physical copy and the waitress rudely said “I can’t accept a photo copy” and she make a snotty face while looking down not even acknowledging us. Once we told her we just wanted a couple apps, she told us it doesn’t matter and we will have to be out by 9. Her attitude from the second she got to our table was miserable and she made us feel unwelcome to the point where we left and went for food elsewhere in Westdale. We won’t be returning and won’t be recommending it to others either.

DO NOT eat here. They advertise that everything is made in the kitchen & it's not. Potatoes come premade in bags, chicken tenders? Bagged. I remember when the cooks would actually make tenders from scratch in the kitchen.. they force you to tip & then choose how much you are to tip even though the service you recieved is well under subpar & don't even get me started on the bathrooms ???
