Was on Concession Street last night for Sidewalk Sounds & decided to stop in to Speedy Subs for a bite to eat. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the place - the subs looked delicious, and the prices are great!
Once I walked in (which was difficult to do with a baby stroller, since there is a large step & narrow entryway - this place is not accessible at all), I noticed it was fairly busy (about 4-5 people ahead of me in line). I checked out all of the offerings on the menu board, which looked fantastic. But then - I got instantly turned off, when I saw that the gentlemen making the subs were not wearing gloves! I was looking forward to trying the place (the subs they were making looked so good!), but I had to walk out right at that moment. Guys, please wear gloves (and change them out frequently)!!

I have to say that I have been in a few sub places before in my life, but not like this one. You are treated like you are friends every time you enter the door. The food OMG is amazing, gyro subs are stacked full of meat and are the best. I have also had the mixed sub, and the Torpedo sub. The meat on these subs, the freshness of the ingredients and toppings make a world of difference when you eat them.
