SPICY CRUST PIZZA & WINGS

How can you charge me $15.90 for a medium double cheese & pepperoni with 2 coke last week and this week you charge me $17.59 for a small double cheese & pepperoni with 2 coke this week!! What’s up spicy crust? I won’t be returning because 1st time is a mistake, 2nd time is intentional!!

By falsely accusing me of returning a “half eaten pizza” and demanding a refund, when in fact I ordered through Uber Eats, never entered your store, never returned a pizza, and never requested a refund , you have published a false and damaging statement about me.

That is not just unprofessional, it falls under defamation, which is a civil liability. Publicly misrepresenting a customer in this way harms my reputation and exposes your business to legal consequences.

For clarity: the only thing I did was call to report that the chicken on my pizza had connective tissues and tasted undercooked, which is a genuine food safety concern. Instead of handling that responsibly, you chose to attack me with lies and then attempted to backtrack by blaming a “different customer.”

This is no longer simply about food quality. It is about a business making false public accusations against a customer, a mistake that carries serious consequences under civil law.

I need to set the record straight because the business reply contains several false accusations.

1. My order was placed through Uber Eats. I never returned a pizza to the store, and I certainly did not bring back a “half eaten pizza” as they claim.

2. I never asked for a refund. My only action was to call and report that the chicken on my pizza contained connective tissues and tasted undercooked. That is a genuine food safety issue.

3. When I called, the staff member told me no manager was available and admitted he could not resolve the issue. That was the end of the conversation.

Instead of addressing a customer concern professionally, this business chose to post a defensive response full of false accusations and even told me publicly “don’t come.” This kind of behavior says more about the business than about me.

My review is based on my actual experience. Customers deserve to know that if you raise a legitimate concern here, not only might it go unresolved, but you could also be publicly attacked with false claims.

Publishing false statements about a customer is not just unprofessional, it can also amount to defamation, which is a serious offence in Canada.

If your claim were true, your CCTV cameras would clearly show me entering your restaurant with a pizza, which is impossible, because I never did. Publishing false statements about customers is not only unprofessional but can also amount to defamation.

Kindly look up the consequences of defamation.

We used Spicy Crust for an event at the YMCA in Hamilton. The food was delivered right on time and they even allowed us to borrow some of their warming bags to keep our food fresh. Great service, great food, incredibly nice staff. Would highly recommend. Also came highly recommended from local pizza lover so I knew it would be great. (I live in US so was looking for recos)

Have ordered here now multiple times great price and always consistently good pizza and wings we once had an issue with dough being under but then made sure to ask for well done going forward and has been no issue since .. tried multiple pizza places in Hamilton and this one is now our go to other than the occasional Mai pai treat

First time checking this place out tonight around 9pm and it was great. I got the small pizza and wing combo for under $25 with tax and tip. Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and jalapeños. It was cooked perfect and tasted great. I got the jalapeño ranch dipping sauce. They had chipotle cheddar and two others. Their wings were awesome too. Probably better than the pizza. The batter seemed homemade and tasted great. Lots of batter on the wings made them a pretty big size. I just got the mild because I wasn’t sure about the taste of the sauce. It had a bit of pizza sauce taste to it but was good. If you like wings for sure check this place out. Wish they had hot honey sauce but that’s my only complaint. Gentlemen cooking was also polite. 5 stars all around. I will be back later this week for some hotter wings lol.

They sell undercooked pizza. Even when you request “well done” honestly gross

A nice little pizza place we happened upon waiting for an appointment close by and this is now the 2nd time coming here in less than a week. The pizza was delightful, the sauce had a nice flavour and cooked well. 1st time opted for the Combo #1 for $20 that included 1lb of wings (spicy butter chicken sauce), a small pizza, dip and drink. For 2 people it was enough. We were actually full from this meal. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming and we will come back. There is no seating but this a pizza pickup establishment so it didn't have an impact. Their prices are very good ($14 for an XL pizza is a good price)
