As someone not from Jiangxi, I was thrilled to discover Spicy King offering genuine Jiangxi cuisine in Toronto. The Nanchang-style spicy fried pork was incredibly fragrant and flavorful. When I entered the restaurant, no one responded to me. I waited there for over three minutes and still no response. The people who worked/owned the restaurant were there all talking and laughing but I was ignored and this wasn’t because they couldn’t see me, they could and I was 10 feet away from them. I said excuse me multiple times but was ignored until a lady stood up and spoke to me.

Very delicious food fresh to order. Family run, we had beef and rice noodles, and the homemade pork dumplings. We were recommended the homemade dumplings, made by the young lady's mother.
The food was so good and spiced just right. The flavor and spice level were on point. And those dumplings were the best that we have tried. Very tasty and authentic food!!! Also, very good portions and prices!
