We haven't been here in awhile and the food was fantastic and better than ever and I like the changes have been made. The manger, I think her name was Betty..... stopped by and made sure everything was going well and when she found out that it was my girlfriend's birthday she brought her out a piece of green tea cheesecake with a candle which was really nice. We are definitely coming back soon!

Food was terrible the Filipino take at a Japanese sushi restaurant wouldn’t even be the worst idea if it was good but the fact they took away old menus and added in bad food was not the greatest idea. On top of that female manager treating and yelling at her employees in front of customers. Will not be back food used to be good now it’s no longer edible

The waiters attention was great and place was clean. The sushi is good if you are going for that.
Unfortunately the cooked meats and cooked food optiond were less than desireable. General tso and it was bitter and nervy. Teriyaki chicken was slimy. Teriyaki beef was bitter with a strange aftertaste. Unfortunately If you have a sensitive palate you might really only be able to enjoy the fries.
We did inform the waiter and they did offer a discount to make it right.

I order the rainbow sushi pizza for takeout at least once a week and it’s the best quality sushi I’ve had. I’m obsessed! Definitely recommend takeout or din-in for their all you can eat.

I've always enjoyed my meals here. However, on this visit I just wanted to share that the service has been really slow, and honestly, it’s starting to feel like we’re being ignored or that our presence isn’t really welcome. I asked for a napkin and never received it, and even though the staff clearly saw our drinks were empty, no one came by to offer a refill. The food was not delivered as it used to be, both in terms of quality and timing. It arrived much later than expected, and by the time it got here, it was cold and unappetizing. The delay completely ruined the experience, and honestly, I lost my appetite waiting. It really feels like we’re being overlooked, and it’s disappointing. We’ve been waiting quite a while without much communication or follow-up. I understand things can get busy, but a little attentiveness would go a long way. We’d really appreciate some acknowledgment and better service moving forward.

Quality was better compared to the old management however still does need improvement.
I had a great lunch experience at Spring sushi restaurant. The atmosphere was clean, calm, and perfect for a quick but enjoyable midday meal.
I started with a seaweed salad, which was fresh and well-seasoned, just the right balance of tangy and savory. It made a great light appetizer. The tempura was another highlight: crisp, golden, and not overly greasy. The vegetables were cooked just right, with a satisfying crunch inside the delicate batter.
I tried a sushi combo that included a variety of rolls and nigiri. Everything tasted fresh, especially the salmon and tuna. The rice was well-prepared and slightly warm and properly seasoned.
Service was efficient and polite, and the food came out quickly, making it an ideal stop during a lunch break.
Fresh sushi, crisp tempura, and a refreshing seaweed salad made this a solid lunch choice. I’ll definitely be returning when I’m in the area again.

We recently went to Spring Sushi during lunch hours and loved that we had the option to order off of the AYCE dinner menu since we wanted sashimi. It was a good experience overall.
Our hostess Betty was very welcoming and explained the daily deals and the special menu items when we were seated. Our server was Marco and he was attentive and refilled our drinks when they got low. Most of the food runners would tell us what the items were so we knew exactly what we were eating.
We tried a variety of different dishes including maki rolls, nigiri, sashimi and hot food items. The food was good, but nothing outstanding. Everything came out quickly and was fresh, but the quality of fish could be better. I liked that the sushi was thinly cut, but feel like the ratio of rice to fish was a little off (I prefer less rice). I also found their torched series to be a little too intense for my liking - I could almost taste the butane which I suppose is the point, but not really my cup of tea. The sashimi was just the right thickness. I just wish they had red tuna sashimi, but not many AYCE places offer that.
Although the sushi items were a bit underwhelming, the best menu items are the kitchen items. We really enjoyed the tempura and the coconut shrimp - it was crispy and well battered. We tried the new bulgolgi beef lettuce wraps too. The flavour was excellent but the lettuce was still super wet which muted the flavours a bit.
We of course ended our meal with some dessert. They have a variety of different items that set them apart from other AYCE sushi spots in Hamilton. They offer a coconut affogato which was delicious and lots of other unique options like the green tea panna cotta. Although we didn’t try that, I’m sure it is delicious. Their ice cream and sorbet flavours aren’t listed on the iPad menu (I assume because they have rotating flavours) so you’ll have to ask your server which flavours they have available. Overall, it was a good experience and we would come back!
