Staropolskie Delikatesy isn’t just a deli—it’s one of the last true old-school gems in Hamilton. The quality of the food? Next level. Everything tastes homemade because it actually is. This place reminds me of what delis used to be—authentic, generous, and made with heart.
I grew up in Hamilton and now live in Burlington, but I still make the drive just for a sandwich from Teresa, who is an absolute sweetheart and hands down makes the BEST sandwich you’ll ever eat. It’s not even close. And once you try one, you’ll know what I mean.
The schnitzels? Unreal. Perfectly crispy and seasoned. The potato pancakes? OMG—absolutely mind-blowing. 🤯 This isn’t fast food—it’s comfort food made the right way, with real ingredients, real care, and a real soul behind the counter.
You won’t regret stopping by. Your tastebuds will thank you, and so will your wallet. Places like this don’t exist anymore. Support it. Treasure it. Staropolskie is a rare find.

Great place to get traditional Polish food. Amazing caraway, rye bread. The butter and kielbasa, they have a mini hot area. So yummy, the ladies with the tattooed eyebrows are so attentive to my husband. Top notch service. Love this place.

Great customer service, the staff are very helpful, the owner is a fabulous lady from as far as we can remember 2010. All of the meals are cooked with love. The prices are awesome, don't expect to pay more, the prices are affordable for all.
This is a Polish deli. Not a restaurant. Although, you can pickup pre made sandwiches and hot items like perogies & cabbage rolls. Very good food.

On Monday my husband bought kielbasa when we arrived home we opened the kielbasa it was bad. It smelled and was not dry. I called the store to let them know no one answers I think it’s an old phone number. I check on line under the yellow pages and it’s not listed. I’m really disappointed why would they sell bad kielbasa.
