The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Everything tasted super fresh, and I especially recommend the eggs benny. The waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly throughout my visit.
At one point, a man came in, was told by the dishwasher that he could sit anywhere, but he abruptly left as he stuck the finger at the owners for not 'showing him more attention' despite being in there for 30 seconds . The staff handled it with total patience and professionalism....crazy typical Hamilton behaviour from the customer

Best breakfast in town! Steve’s Open Kitchen is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving a hearty breakfast. The place is clean, welcoming, and has a great local vibe. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots around!

I took my kids here this morning for breakfast. They each got French toast with bacon and I got the eggs Benedict. The aroma of the French toast, omg! Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The bacon was perfect. The service, amazing. The atmosphere is great. The photos of old Hamilton on the walls, cute dinner feel, nice quiet morning, I'm sure weekends can get crazy. They treat everyone like a member of the family has walked in...where everyone knows your name ;) It's a really nice feeling. We also got 2 cheese cake slices to go, orange & cherry. Wow, amazing!!!!! Thank you for a great breakfast.

Lorena is an amazing server! She’s memorized my order basically and is so cheerful and happy! If you’re looking for a great family spot that’s chill, down to earth but also a very understanding environment I would 10/10 recommend Steve’s open kitchen! I’ve been coming for roughly 2 years and am always over impressed by the service and food! Ps. Lorena has adorable items for sale all around the restaurant
