I have to take a moment to highlight the incredible service we received from our server at Sunset Grill — truly the best I’ve had in years!! Service just doesn’t come like this anymore. From the first greeting to the final goodbye, JJ went above and beyond to make our breakfast experience top notch! The service was better than what I received at the Scotia bank arena VIP lounge!! Unreal! And the food? Never disappoints 😋

The food and service was good. The prices are silly. For a coffee and some side pieces of banana we were charged $11! I asked for a side of couple pieces of strawberry and banana was told I could pick one or the other and was not giving a price until I got the bill.

The cook Michael was yelling at the waitresses about various things, how to hold plates, incorrect order etc, he is very loud and rude to the waitresses, two others besides me inquired if everything was OK due to his behavior. We were informed that he acts like this all the time, especially to the older waitress. I hope that this behavior is not allowed to continue as it makes for a toxic workplace for both guests and staff. There is a proper way to handle issues and his way...
