Sunday afternoon was ruined by this cashier, white female, probably a student? We needed the basket to take things over to the car and she spoke to us like we were going to run away with it. And then also expected me to quietly pay for a bag of cookies that were all crushed inside. She really couldn’t handle a brown person calling her out for her racism. Oh and I see more reviews like mine so clearly we’re not the only ones.

Terrible experience - do NOT recommend. We placed an order for a birthday cake and upon opening the box at the birthday party it was meant for, we noticed the name was spelled wrong. We called Sweet Paradise to advise of this and were truly appalled of the treatment by their manager. As I was trying to explain the situation, this individual was completely dismissive, rude and disrespectful. There was a complete lack of care or compassion given the situation. The individual was very blunt and abrupt, cutting me off multiple times. Rather than trying to understand why a customer might be upset with this situation, she said things like "well why did you call then, what do you want me to do about it" in a very rude tone. I informed her I was calling to express my concern but now after this exchange, I am quite upset with the lack of customer service and disrespectful tone. I informed her she had terrible customer service and should have more empathy. This individual chose to reply with "ok, bye" and hung up on me. I was extremely upset at this point. Family and friends encouraged me to call back to speak to someone else as I had the phone call on speakerphone and they were all appalled with the treatment of a customer.
During the second phone call I placed, I spoke to another manager who advised me to send an email regarding the situation and the owner would respond to me immediately. Since sending a detailed email with the incident that occurred, we have received no acknowledgment or apology.
Clearly this is a business that does not care about its customers. We used to love ordering from here but after this experience, never again.

It was my first time today and I purchased a Lemon butter cream cake for our mother's 90th birthday. Absolutely ? recommend this business. The cake was Fantastic, mother agreed and our family .I will be back.
