This Swiss Chalet on York Street in Hamilton is hands-down the best… better than the Burlington location, better than Queenston, and better than the one up on James. The food here always comes out piping hot, and the service is fantastic. I wish the other locations ran with the same level of efficiency and quality. The staff are always friendly, and there’s a great guy named Yasin who really makes the place stand out.

I ordered delivery from Swiss chalet twice!! both times I never got my side and I also ordered a two for one meal… But I got one ??? so many issues with this location !!!!

I ordered delivery from the York Boulevard location in the City of Hamilton. The food was abhorrent. The chicken club wrap had a blue powder substance on it that I will be sending for analysis. The French fries were so dehydrated it looked like they were days old and smothered in so much salt it was not eatable. Do they ever change the deep fryer oil? The quality of the food is just so disappointing and just not worth the money. I would not recommend anyone to eat here.
The staff at this location are kind and efficient. I was served by Vansh today who proved exactly that!

Food was delivered chicken fresh/hot and good. The only complaint was either the chalet dipping sauce or the fries .. way too heavily salted. The sauce was really salty.

**NO DINING ROOM AT THIS LOCATION** Despite what this Google listing says, there is no dining room at this location. It’s a very strange location as it has 2 entrances, 1 on each side of the building and apparently both are for pick up. Also, the parking lot requires you to pay. So I wasted $5.00 here today due to the misleading Google listing. I informed the employee at the cash about this and they said they are “working on it”.

Pathetic location. They should’ve never changed it from how it was. First of all, you have to pick it up at the front where there’s no parking and only a bike lane. So good luck if you’re handicapped. Secondly, when you do try to use the app, it won’t accept your payment after two credit cards and after Apple Pay it still won’t accept your payment. And you can’t pay cash inside, since it’s “not that type of location”.
And don’t call the support number. Oh no, the man that answered apparently didn’t understand me… a fluently crystal clear English language speaking born Canadian for decades.
Only take out and delivery no more seating :(
