I usually love tally ho but they have recently hired a young women and she is extremely slow they also forgot my gravy and my fries were not well done as I asked I hope they bring back the other lady who is usually up front as she does a great job. Sad to leave this review really do love the place.

Watching the news a few weeks ago, I saw a segment where a man was telling viewers about Tally Ho. He referred to it as THE ORIGINAL Arby's. Not by a long shot! I know people who have been going to Tally Ho since it opened over 35 years ago. The atmosphere is from that era. It's like walking back in time. Back when food was prepared from scratch, a family owned restaurant, not a chain, fresh food, not frozen, real roast beef, not processed, with a taste that makes your mouth water. I've been going there since it was recommended to me a few years after moving to the area in 1988. I drop in every chance I get. It's like a special treat for me. There's usually regular customers telling new people how good it is while waiting for their order. Other customers who drive long distances just to grab a bite. I always call my neighborhood friends to ask if they would like me to bring them something. It's now a regular thing. All I have to say is TALLY HO? I visited my son in Dundas 2 weeks ago. He wasn't feeling well, but he was hungry. I brought him the roast beef platter. He has never been there before. It was gone in a blink. He really enjoyed it, and he was grateful. If you want to enjoy a truly great meal, I advise you to order an extra side of gravy. You will want to drink it from the dish! Go to Tally Ho Restaurant, enjoy your lunch or dinner, and come back here to add your own review. I'm sure you will want to.

first time ever going to this restaurant. ordered fries and gravy... handed a bag with the gravy all over the top of fries for a takeout order... i asked why it wasn't on the side like any other place would have served for takeout... then was charged extra for it to be on the side then didn't even receive the change difference for the amount I paid extra. terrible service.
needs to be advertised that the gravy comes directly on instead of on the side.

Went here over a week ago. This was my mom's favorite place she always raved about it! So my friend and I were passing by one day and decided to go and try it out! The beef sandwiches are awesome and topped with gravy that's delicious. The place has a nice old school vibe to it which makes it an original. The fries were nice and crispy. I'd definitely come back and try out some other items on the menu.
