TeaHut Bubble Tea Café (Bubble Tea, Smoothies Juice & Snacks)

I first visited this place back in 2004, and it used to be one of my regular spots. Although I’ve been living out of town for many years, every visit back brings a deep sense of nostalgia and wonderful memories. It may not be the most modern or trendy bubble tea shop in town, but its nostalgic charm makes it truly special.

The food remains excellent—comforting and reminiscent of home-cooked meals. I especially enjoyed the popcorn chicken, Taiwanese sausage, and spiced chili chicken; all three are must-try dishes.

The bubble tea, however, tastes a bit on the syrupy side compared to the more tea-forward drinks now popular in the GTA area. Perhaps using less syrup could appeal to customers who are becoming more health-conscious and cutting down on sugar. Just a friendly suggestion.

Also, it would be great to see the return of the board games that used to be available—it added such a fun and cozy atmosphere.

Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious food and a touch of nostalgia.

We had such a great experience here! We tried the chicken noodle soup, squid balls, and the popcorn chicken rice. Everything was great, but the squid balls were the absolute star of the meal. Perfectly cooked, tasty, and something we’ll definitely be coming back for. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for comforting dishes with amazing flavor!

I was craving for something crispy and fried rice. I looked in uber eats and found this restaurant. I never tried here so I gave it a go. I ordered their best seller popcorn chicken and a promo of egg fried rice. They were packed securely, arrived warm, and intact. Egg fried rice was very tasty, delicious, decently portioned, and savory. Popcorn chicken was proved to be right. It is very delicious, crispy, and satisfying. I will definitely order again. I highly recommend.

I’m a regular at this place and usually order the steamed buns with condensed milk. However, my experience this time was really disappointing. When we received our order, the condensed milk wasn’t included. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal, but the staff’s attitude made it unpleasant.

When we asked about the condensed milk, the employee replied dismissively that “it doesn’t come with the buns.” We tried to politely explain that we always order this dish with condensed milk, but she flatly said no and insisted that if we wanted it, we should have asked. When my friend mentioned that we are regulars and it always comes with condensed milk, she just said, “oh really!” and walked away without any explanation or apology.

If she was unsure about the menu, it would have been much more professional to check first rather than speaking to customers as if they were clueless. The lack of respect and professionalism made this visit very unpleasant, even though the food quality was as good as usual. I hope the management addresses staff attitude, especially towards regular customers.

10/10. Had a few dishes including black pepper lamb, omurice, and curry. All excellent and comparable to what I can get back home in the Asian food capital of Canada, Richmond BC.

I ordered the shrimp fried rice. It tasted alright. Just a little bland but I enjoyed it. I would’ve like some veggies like corn or green onions. Overall J would come again for a late night treat.

This place is kinda starting to annoy my stomach. The quality of the chicken here is very very poor from chewy crunchy and just not good at all kinda feel sick tbh.

First time coming here I ordered the spicy chicken and black sugar latte 10/10. Service was great food was great I will be back here for sure and soon.

Stopped in for drinks, they were refreshing on a hot day like today.
