The server suggested the lamb ribs. Everyone else at my table was very happy with what they ate. When my ribs arrived, much later than everyone else's food, at the first bite I realized there was something wrong but wasn't too worried. Today, I'm sick. I've tried to call the restaurant twice to give him a heads up not to keep serving those. No response. No voicemail. The server suggested them cuz they were told they were going bad. At least that's my guess. I'm very disappointed, I used to love this place. I'm not going back.

Great ambiance, although I went for lunch. The venue is probably better equipped for a nightly visit.
Broad menu. Exceptional service.
Surprised, it was as empty as it was, but perhaps that's due to location or time.

Food was decent , service was really really slow.
Hate to leave a review like this but was here for an hour and a half and had to cancel our food order because it was so slow and we had to leave by 830. With no one else in the restaurant

We just left our meals there and went across the street to the pub. My club sandwich was too soggy to pick up and both meals were tasteless. The first beer we asked for they didnt have and the second was served warm. The atmosphere was seriously dampened by the elevator music they were playing. We've been there a few times before a few years ago and enjoyed it. Very disappointed and will not return or recommend.

They kick out teenagers if they only order coffee.

A friend and I had planned a night out with dinner and drinks at The Bean Bar and then a show next door at the Westdale. While the drinks were served quickly, our meal was forgotten. We waited over 45 mins for a wrap and a salad before going over to the server to ask about our meals. Clearly they had been forgotten due to her inability to answer why they weren’t ready. I remember the Bean Bar used to be hard to get a table at, now I know why it was practically empty when we walked in. So sad to see this happen to such a nostalgic spot. Would not recommend.

We visited this restaurant before a show, expecting a smooth experience. Despite the restaurant not being busy, service was disappointing. Our drinks came quickly, but for 45 minutes, the waitress never checked on us. I eventually had to ask about our food, only to find out she had forgotten to place the order. She offered no apology or accountability.

Mistakes happen, but regular check-ins could prevent issues like this. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re on a schedule.

Best part of our experience was the lovely woman who served us. She was very sweet. Otherwise, the meals were very poor, to say the least. Truffle fries were truly just plain fries, both the chicken Caesar wrap and chicken bacon ranch wrap were bland with minimal filling and salads were similar. Prices were very steep for the quality of food provided. Would not return.

No non alcohol beer like the last 2 visits. Beef burger had very little cheese, onion and lettuce. I couldn't squeeze the mustard from the container because the hole was dark and plugged so I removed the top. What came out was a different shade of yellow and lumpy so I dipped my finger in and tasted it. It had no mustard flavor. I didn't order another meal and it was removed from my bill. Our group observed that the waitress was a student and new at it but apologetic. The kitchen needs organizing. Even the vinegar bottle had no small hole dispenser. We won't be back.

Haven’t been here in a long time, things have changed. Was amazed it wasn’t busy on a Saturday night. Went before a show next door. Ordered the roast lamb and my wife ordered the salmon. Pretty sure I got over seasoned duck and she got dry salmon, with no sauce and boxed mashed potatoes. Both salads had little to no dressing. We didn’t check reviews since we’d been here years before but wish we did. I’d avoid.

Lunch was fabulous. I had the cob salad and it was the perfect portion. Coffee was very nice and the service excellent.

I was deeply disappointed with my visit here. New management has created an unpleasant food experience. I ordered a burger and fries. The platter put in front of me contained a greasy burger and dry fries both of which tasted like they came from a grocery store freezer.
The server was pleasant and asked if I didn't like the burger as I left half. I told her it wasn't my taste. There was no apology or removal of item from the bill.
I won't be returning.

The food was fresh but my wrap was small and bland, and the salad was soggy. Given the price of the food, I expected better quality and greater quantity.

It's trying for a hip atmosphere and they were playing some smooth jazz tracks. The music wasn't too loud and provided for a good atmosphere for conversations.

Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options on the menu.

Parking: There are metered spots out front of the restaurant and plenty of metered street parking or free parking if you are willing to walk a few blocks.
