Great breakfast spot. They accommodate a good range of tastes and reasonably priced. Bedrock breakfast is a good plate of eggs, sausage, and home fries; my go-to.

Really saddened and disappointed by my last eating experience at the Bedrock. My family and I have been eating at this establishment for the last 9 years since moving to Hamilton. The food has always been fine. Some eating experiences better than others, but after what happened to my daughter and I following eating there this past Sunday, I don't think we'll ever go back. We both got horrible food poisoning after eating our breakfast. We both got a skillet dish that came with Hollandaise sauce, and I am pretty sure it was a bad batch of Hollandaise sauce that made us sick. My mother also ate with us, but she ordered a different dish that did not have Hollandaise sauce and she did not get sick. The food was filling and my daughter and I both didn't finish our meals and took leftovers home. We felt fine at first and ate our leftovers in the afternoon. But it wasn't long before we both started experiencing stomach cramps. This was followed by hours of intense vomiting and diarrhea as well as body chills and aches. That breakfast at The Bedrock was a belated birthday breakfast for my daughter as it was one of her favourtie breakfast spots. Now she is afraid to ever go back for fear of possibly experiencing illness again. I wanted to leave a review so that other diners are aware as I am sure there were many others there who may have been exposed to that bad batch of Hollandaise sauce. Do better Bedrock, have better standards for your food quality so that you aren't causing your customer to experience illness like my daughter and I did.
All of that said, our waitress was amazing!! She is funny, sweet and very attentive. I am giving 2 stars because of the amazing serving staff and previous year's of eating at this establishment and enjoying the food.

It's been 7 years since I've returned here after a poor experience, so it's time to update the review. While I didn't visit on a busy morning like I did 7 years ago, today was actually a good experience. The server was nice and on point with coming by to see if we needed anything, the food was warm and quick to arrive at our table. The food itself was very good. I got an omelette from the B.Y.O (Build Your Own) choice. It was very good, but the home fries were by far the best part. The taste of them is quite nice. I'll be sure to visit again in the future and see if the quality sticks but all in all, a good experience.

Great little place to stop and have a nice little breakfast. Great prices with different options to chose from. It's Flintstone themed which is fun. They should paint the walls with Flintstone characters, that would make the place super fun for families with young children. It would also help brighten up the place. Service was great and super friendly. Super busy place. Would definitely return

My friends were celebrating their wedding this weekend and we decided to come here for a post celebration breakfast.
I phoned in to see if they were able to accommodate approximately 15 people and told them we would be there within the next hour and to my surprise, they did! The staff were so welcoming and kind, every single one of us thought the food was delicious and will be returning customers! Can't wait to be back!

I always get the skillet for breakfast and it's always amazing. Even after we moved to Brantford, we still drive all the way back to Hamilton just for it. The home fries are seasoned to perfection. It's a comfortable mom and pop style establishment with a long-standing great reputation. Staff is always friendly.
