Soup. What is soup? Let The Burnt Tongue tell you what soup is.
Got the tomato and pasta soup with a grilled cheese and everything was yum. But, the price is not very reflective of the quality of what youāre getting. Especially the grilled cheese. The grilled cheese isnāt as bad as Gordon Ramseyās, but I donāt think it should be as expensive as it is. Thatās just an opinion though, I understand that cheese and bread is pricey nowadays. The soup I saw came from a bag that was heated up and poured into their holding containers, Iām not sure if the soup was made prior and just stored but that is the most reasonable assumption. The perfect time to get this soup is on a cold night, and maybe when youāre sick. Itāll heal you. The grilled cheese? Iām not sure.
Next time I am going to try their Cubano !

Very happy with the service. Food is pretty good too. Price isn't the best, but then again if you want something different you'll need to pay more. Overall nice spot.

I asked (and paid) for extra goat cheese and extra seeds on my kale salad, and they put nuts, a ton of extra fruit, and no goat cheese at all. This is the King Street location in Hamilton. Super disappointed

Excellent food but we waited at least 20-25 minutes which is far too long for this type of restaurant

sandwiches are EXTREMELY oily and not edible
First time customer at burnt tongue, got the roasted garlic potato leek with crispy onions, the kale cesar salad and the grilled chicken and provolone sandwich. The soup was amazing honestly but they didn't give me the caramelized onions. They also forgot to give me my salad so I had to go back and get it. All in all yummy good but medicore service

Amazing soup options here! Recently came here to get some potato leek soup to go. I felt like trying some before I left the restaurant. I ended up finishing the entire soup there ? it was that good!!! Left with no soup and a big smile. Highly recommend!

Today me and my girlfriend decided to try out burnt tongue since we were really craving a good soup and sandwich and according to the reviews Burnt tongue seem liked one of the better options. Well, let's just say it was probably our biggest regret. We decided to try the Cubano and buffalo chicken sandwich with tomato soup. As we were waiting for our food we even saw a customer walked in, waited at the counter and then left since all the employees were off somewhere else. 25-30 mins later we finally got our food and I was hoping since it took awhile to get it it would be good. NOPE. The soup was cold, the Cubano was dripping in oil and pretty much falling out of the paper it was wrapped in and lasty the buffalo chicken sandwich we had to throw out. For the future I know if I ever want a good soup and sandwich good ol Tim hortons and Fortinos will always be there for us.

I got the Large Chicken Provolone which was delicious but not full filling tbh. Cooked perfect and assembled nicely.
The sandwich cost $15.82 itself. Why do i pay $1 for couple jalapeƱo slices from a $5 jar. Like its not Bacon or Guacamole.

Food tasted great (chicken provolone). Service was quick and friendly and good price for the food. The only complaint is the packaging for takeout. Messed my sandwich up a little, and the grease was leaking out the packaging.
