One fine morning, we decided to skip the school bus and walk to school instead. The weather was spring cool, but the sun added a warm touch. Along the way, we made a spontaneous stop at The Cannon for hot chocolate and we definitely beat the morning rush! The drink was so beautifully presented that my son said, 'It looks too beautiful to drink.' Nevertheless, they enjoyed every sip on our walk to school. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Might be my favourite coffee shop in the city. Everything on the menu is delish, but the waffle breakfast sandwich is probably my favourite. I’ve tried so many of the baked goods, and I can’t stop raving about them. Definitely the best flat white I’ve had in a while too

Hands down the best overall cafe in Hamilton based on food selection, seating, coffee/ espresso pours/ atmosphere. The Cannon nails everything — from the perfectly brewed coffee to their incredible waffles and brunch options. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, SO happy they opened up with this bigger space. the staff are always friendly, and you can tell they really care about quality and community. They’re got Bullard in front of their shop now so rest assured no more vehicles through the other entrance.

The coffee was incredibly good. I definitely want to go back. The coffeeshop itself is very beige and modern, so to me personally I find beige to be very boring and lifeless but if that is your thing you will love this place and the coffee is extremely tasty so I would highly recommend a visit to this coffeeshop. Even if it is all beige. :)

Stopped by The Cannon for the first time and had a London Fog along with a cinnamon apple scone—both were fantastic! The London Fog was smooth and perfectly balanced, and the scone was fresh, flavourful, and just the right amount of sweet. The café has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were SUPER friendly. Definitely a spot I’d visit again next time I’m in Hamilton!

A darling little place. Yummy drinks, and good food! I needed to get my vehicle fixed, and this place was a short walk away from the mechanics so I dropped in to kill time! The people were nice and I was able to sit in for a good hr before deciding to leave. No one rushed me out! Thank you for that.
