the matcha here was yummy 😋 super fresh and flavourful!! the shop itself is really beautiful, though it is on the smaller side. they did forget our chocolate croissant at first, but the guy at the front with curly hair made up for it by giving us a free s’mores bar, which ended up being extremely delicious & honestly one of our new favourites. great service overall, we really appreciated the kindness & how everything was handled :)

I’m a regular Ottawa Street shopper but haven’t had the chance to pop into the Cannon. I did and was so happy I did! The barista was efficient and friendly. The lemon loaf was fantastic, will be visiting whenever I’m in the area!

The girlfriend like to try out new cafe's and this is definitely in the top 5. Only reason for 4/5 stars is because 95% of their deserts were sold out by 11:30 am. On the other hand that is a good thing, must be good. So we had the cranberry scone which was really good. The cappuccino is good quality coffee.

I bought a latte here last summer. It was in the double digits and i swore to not come back. My regular coffee shop was closed today so I thought I'd give it another chance. My $5 small americano took 15 minutes while the giys stood around chatting and it tasted no better than a $2 starbucks coffee. Will not return.

The gentleman at the front with the glasses I forgot his name, but he was very knowledgable and very nice. He recommended some drinks into a fantastic the mocha and the iced coffee with vanilla still taste tasted like coffee without it being overly sweet.

Came here for peace while contractors were working inside my house and enjoyed a drip coffee and breakfast sandwich on a waffle. The coffee in no exaggeration was one of the best I’ve ever had, especially in Hamilton so far. Not bitter, but not boring, the coffee held a bold flavour and served to me at the perfect sipping temperature. The waffle that the breakfast sandwich came out with was fluffy and buttery, making the already loaded sandwich look like a skyscraper, in the best way. I was perfectly satiated and filled with joy after finishing the food. The cashier also was very helpful and super friendly with helping choose something on the menu.
Please take some time and have atleast a coffee here, that way you can enjoy the “university study focused” atmosphere.
