My family had an amazing meal at The District Tapas today. The food was full of flavor - delicious and the service was exceptional as well. The Maple chicken on waffles was a hit!! Definitely going to visit again

Fantastic food with great cocktails and amazing staff. Highly recommend! The Thursday 5 for $50 tapas deal is an extra bonus.

My husband and I love coming here for date night! The food and drinks are always perfect, the staff are attentive and incredibly personable, and the vibes are immaculate. How many restaurants have the chef coming out to serve the food alongside with the server and bartending staff? The staff here work so hard. Every time we go feels like a personalized experience! We definitely love to splurge when we’re here, but you could definitely get a great meal within your budget if you choose to do so. My personal drink recommendation is the juicy rebound, I happened to be there when they first created it ☺️. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re willing to try some fusion foods, there’s definitely something for everyone!

The District ended up meeting up a great place that we selected on a site of the moment. Great mocktails and an extensive tapas menu were our mission in the evening. Super Service and good vibes were had. We had a total of 6 small plates which were anything but small. We agreed that the duck tacos (got bite), Brussels sprouts (huge bowl, add the bacon) and The halloumi fries were 10/10. Closely behind was the seafood gnocchi in its creamy cheesy sauce. The paprika stroganoff poutine proved saucy& punch; and the spiced sole pork belly: terrific. Maybe we’re lucky that all the items we tried were great, but singing tells me that this kitchen pushes out some top notch meals in the regular.

We went for dinner here on a Saturday. The atmosphere was very relaxing and cozy. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We got an assortment of tappas to share and they were all delicious. The drinks were also very tastey. Would recommend trying this spot out!

The duck pasta OMG it has to be sent from heaven. I have worked in some of the top restaurants in Toronto this pasta left me thinking about it the next day. I took the bacon out so I did alter it but it has to be the best dish I have ever had hands down.

Looking forward to trying the brunch.
I give this place 10 stars.

The food was delicious. I was the only vegan at my table but I had at least 6 different options on the menu to choose from. The meat options also looked delicious. Tons of alcohol options and the waiters really took their time to confirm with me what the vegan drink options were. Would definitely go back. Wish the restaurant was a bit bigger but I get that rents high so they gotta work with what they have.

Dietary restrictions: Tons of vegan options or sub options To accommodate gluten-free and dairy free.

Amazing food! Had the mushroom caps and chicken trio. Had to get an extra order of chicken trio because they were sooo good.

We had a wonderful experience at The District. The menu offers many tantalizing food and drink options making deciding what to order a challenge. A welcome challenge though, as this restaurant does not offer the usual "run of the mill" (and boring) food or drink options served at local chain restaurants. The wine and food we had was exceptional as was the service. We will be making a return visit in the near future.

Highly, highly recommend.

Loved the food and cocktails. We’re big tapas fans and enjoyed the Asian-inspired cauliflower and brussel sprouts. The bartender was super friendly and informative about the cool, but classic cocktails. We had paper plane, graveyard, and naked & famous cocktails that were absolutely delicious.
Fingers crossed that the high-top tables have taller chairs the next time we visit.

Delicious sounding options - we tried the smoked duck Bao, Asian sesame cauliflower, Asian Brussels sprouts and the steak frites. Unfortunately, there was just too much sauce on all of these dishes - the smoked duck was very smokey, could not even distinguish that it was duck. The sauce on the cauliflower and the brussel sprouts was the same - a sweet sticky soy based glaze. Great on the cauliflower, far too much by the time we got to the brussel sprouts. Had we been warned they were exactly the same flavour profile we would've ordered differently. The steak frites came drenched in chipotle mayo. Our server was very accommodating and did replace the steak frites with a new dish (mayo on the side). The fries were heavy though (fried in a rich fat)? Halloumi fries were yummy and not buried under any other competing flavours.

The District is trying so hard to be trendy (love the tapas style menu!) but as we shared with the staff, less is more. Don't drown the food in sauce and mayo. We had a very uneven dinner in terms of taste, unfortunately, and would likely not go back again. Also you need to like 90s era hip hop, cuz that's what's playing.

We haven't even finished eating yet and I had to come and review.

Y'all just go. It's so so good. We had the mushroom caps, steak frites, seafood gnocchi, and Korean BBQ ribs. My God my taste buds are IN LOVE.

They have entrées as well, but sharing these 4 dishes with a glass of sangria each kept us comfortably full. Time for dessert!

Place is quirky. The server was excellent. We tried 4 items. Brussel sprouts were bomb. Mushrooms were awesome. The gnocchi was decent. Unfortunately the pork belly tasted like straight diesel fuel. Someone had started the grill with butane or charcoal or somerhing of that nature. Straight chemical and was not eatable. We left it on the plate. I probably should have said something but it’s not exactly like having your steak over cooked. I don’t believe this should happen.

Couldn't read the menu's. Too dark. Like many Tapas places food was overpriced and went home hungry.

Wheelchair accessibility: Big difference between the sidewalk and the front door. No ramp.
