The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Waterdown

We were celebrating a birthday and had a wonderful night. Our server was very friendly, pleasant and very attentive to our every need.

The calamari was, as always, the best found anywhere. The service was prompt and cordial. The drinks were served quickly and in generous portion. The smallest table in the furthest corner was not a welcome venue. The rice was sticky and flavourless, and not up to the level experienced in the past. Toss in four crunchy beans, a few kernels of corn, and you have a disappointing dining experience. The Keg used to be the benchmark for all others.

Logan was an exceptional server, attentive and very professional. We were a large group with children ranging from 2-16 and he made everyone feel “special” especially the two birthday girls. Great food, great service!

My family eats at The Keg often. Our experience is always excellent. Great food. Great servers who really add to the experience. Great ambience. I enthusiastically advise people to try this restaurant.

I was disappointed as the manager was continually talking to the table across from us. The noise level was extremely high with her conversation. It wasn't the manager but the people she was talking to were extremely loud. We could not have a conversation at our table, as that was the level of the noise from that table. We did mention it to our server and he said we could move tables but he did mention they did have the bill so they should be leaving soon. The waiter was in an akward position as he couldn't really say anything to the manager. After half an hour that table finally left. The table beside them mentioned to us that thank goodness they had left as the volume was way too high. If the manager had come to our table, I wou;ld have definitely mentioned it. I've never experienced this issue before. The manager should have been aware of the noise level but continually kept going to the table to have a conversation. Definitely not happy with the managers inability to realize the issue she was causing.

The Keg Waterdown does NOT disappoint! The service at this location is spectacular! As always, the food is amazing too!

We have been patrons of The Keg that dates back to The Keg & Clever days!!! I know we are old :) Gaby was our server and she was professional in every detail. Food was spot on! We will definitely return to the Waterdown location.

We had a 7:00pm reservation, arrived promptly as we took weather conditions into consideration and then was asked to wait. 7:15pm we were seated. Chose to not partake of the bread and ordered garlic toast. Arrived at our table at 7:55pm. When we inquired on our server the reason for the 40 minute wait for our appetizer we were told that they like to space the courses out. So my question was were we to wait another 40 minute for our entree. A fair and just question. She was rude and condescending in her response and please note you should NEVER patronize a patron by calling someone “my dear”.
The exchange was overheard by another server who must have spoken with the manager who came over to apologize and to pay for our appetizer which was not necessary. Our food was distinctly average especially compared to the amazing meal we had on our last visit in January. The Keg has always been the top tier restaurant in town but not any more. Such a disappointing experience all round.

We got take out, burgers were very good, French fries were cold and the wedge salad inedible. This lettuce should never have been served but thrown out. Sorry to be soo honest but this should not have been served

Great service. Dined with some friends. They made a mistake with my food and they took it back to make it right. Manager came by our table to ensure everything was okay.
