I been looking for an Arsena pub close to Hamilton and this place is just perfect. Nicole and her staff are the absolute best. Food is great, prices are reasonable but most of all the atmosphere at the games is electric. Each time I walk in the door is feels I have found my new home. Much love to the Pheasant and the beloved Pluckers!

We hosted our annual Christmas dinner for more than forty people on the upper level. The atmosphere was great with lots of room to mingle, music playing, the Leafs game on, and darts going. Eva was our server, and although I missed the other lady’s name, both were amazing. Everyone got their meal hot and delivered personally, and the two of them ran the stairs all night to make sure we were taken care of. Outstanding service. I will be back!

Popped in with a group of more than 10 on a Sunday night and our server still was extremely funny, kind, and accommodating despite being the only bartender / server on duty. Food and drinks were all fantastic and reasonably priced. Thank you for the warm welcome and wonderful hospitality. I can’t recommend The Pheasant Plucker enough.

Listen. I don’t usually write reviews, but after what happened at The Pheasant Plucker, I had to process it publicly.
I popped in thinking I’d grab a pint and some fries. Next thing I know, I’m getting a shellac pedicure from a guy named Jim who swore he wasn’t an employee but “just likes helping out.” He did an amazing job. My toes haven’t looked this good since 2014.
The ambience? Electric.
The food? Unreal.
At one point, a guy at the next table told me he was “the unofficial mayor of Augusta Street.” I knighted him with a chicken wing. We’re best friends now.
The bathroom? Spotless. Like, disturbingly clean.
Anyway, I left with fresh nails, and a new friend. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would give more stars if I could.

Pretty good place, especially if you just want a beer and to watch the game. Unfortunately the kitchen closes two hours earlier than the bar itself, but they have friendly staff and lots of beer on-tap. Definitely recommend
