The food was great. I had the beef tartar which is hands down the best Ive had. The beers on tap, In my opinion are the best! They have my favorite beers on tap. Which I was told is commonly always on tap Chimay, Le Trappist and Delirium. My server was very welcoming and kind. Thank you Sam, I'm believe that was your name absolutely sorry if it wasn't your name. If your ever in the DT core of Hamilton, most definitely check out The Standard restaurant and bar

Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! A nice place for date night or hang out with a group of friends ? Their burger is a great portion along with the yummy truffle fries! Plus their chili calamari was a great app!

We booked the chef tasting menu for our anniversary, and it was AWESOME!! The food was mouth watering, the service was superb and the atmosphere was fun. We had the opportunity to try dishes before they launch on the main menu, which was so exciting. We were served by the chef de cuisine, Matt. He explained each dish, and let us know the cooking process and where the ingredients came from. A lot of the key ingredients are local. It's evident that the menu is well thought out, with a focus on making sure the preparation brings out the max flavour and enjoyment of the food. The music was great, not too loud but enough to set the vibe. The service was fantastic. Thanks for taking care of us, Ryan!
