Bad service to begin with. The guy serving me did not even smile, no greetings no thank you nothing. Was craving ramen for the night, I ordered the basic tondou ramen and I have no idea what I just ate. It was so bad. There are so many other better ramen places in Hamilton, definitely not this one. It was expensive too and not worth the price at all.

Great service, friendly people and fantastic food, complimented by an incredible atmosphere.

Also give whoever was in charge of the music a pay raise.

The soup tastes good but I believe I had a reaction from msg when I went there recently as I felt an overwhelming hot feeling, nausea and mild headache while eating which continued for a couple hours. Not sure if it was the soup broth, the pork belly or the chili oil I added that may contain msg. The first couple times I ate there I had a more mild response but this last time I had a more severe response. Just something to be aware of for those more sensitive.

The owner is incredibly rude. We arrived four minutes early. The owner chased us away with his hand and locked the door in front of us. He could have just asked us to wait outside. You don’t lock the door in a customer’s face.

The good thing is that this is not the only option for Japanese ramen in town. Menya Kyu is Japanese-owned, cheaper, makes better ramen, and does not subject you to a rude owner.

2 small pieces of meat is all you get for $22. This is an absolute ripoff.

Guy on the counter was very rude, its like he doesn't want you eating at their place. I ordered tonkotsu ramen and it looks good but the taste is way different than it looks. The noodles were half cooked, didn't expect it to be. Out of all the ramen places I've been to, I've never encountered a half cooked noodles on ramen. Also ordered deep fried gyoza and takoyaki and it was so bad, the gyoza was so plain and dry with NO sauce, so hard to chew. It feels like both gyoza and takoyaki are the ones you can buy on supermarkets frozen section. It was that bad. Overall experience was bad. Never coming back again. Plus it was expensive. $70 for 2 ramen gyoza and takoyaki. Booo. Not worth your money there.

I was waiting for my friend in there and a staff came a said me to get out because I wasn’t ordering anything. He literally told me that he had to kick me out. Worst customer service ever.

I used to love this place, but today I was really disappointed, I came with a friend willing to enjoy a nice ramen, but we were rudely kick out, claiming that we needed to leave due to we already waited for 10 minutes without ordering anything. Such a bad service. This were the two dudes that denied me a nice meal and to speak with a manager.

We went there for the 4.7 stars in their reviews. But they have VERY poor service. I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't even let me sit just because my friend wasn't there yet. They just let me stand and didn't even bother to show me what do they have in their store. I ordered the garlic tonkotsu. The ramen noodles were not fully cooked. I don't know if that's how they cook it but it's not good for me. Meat was not torched well. Too greasy soup. Takoyaki was ok. Gyoza was basic. We were sitted infront of the kitchen, the staff accidentally drop the broth in front of us and then splashed some of the broth. He didn't even apologize for that. The experience was a nightmare. Never coming back.

Their ramen is extremely salty and overpriced. The service is a little slow but fairly personal. The atmosphere reminds me a bit of the ramen shops you'll see in Japanese movies.
