Nice idea, but few healthy menu options. Left feeling grossed out by too much deep fried everything. Mediocre.
almost 10 dollars for a muffin and a burnt watered down coffee, and then the lady at the register had the balls to add a tip request to the debit machine. You suck.
We come here for the value, and the spinach dip is amazing. Drinks are great. Everything is great! It's our go to place for a nice meal without breaking the bank. Top notch service, and quality of food!
Townhall is hands down one of my favorite spots in Hamilton! I’ve been here multiple times—date nights, Mother’s Day, and even with a big group of girlfriends—and every single time, it’s been an amazing experience.
The food is to die for, with a menu that never disappoints, but what truly sets Townhall apart is the outstanding service. The staff genuinely care about their customers' experience, and it shows. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy, which is so refreshing.
The recent reno looks fantastic, and honestly, moving away from the food stall concept was a smart choice—it always seemed to confuse people. Now, everything just flows better.
And the vibe? On point! Whether you’re out for a cozy dinner or a fun night with friends, Townhall nails it every time. Highly recommend!
I had my birthday party at Townhall Social at the start of January. They were SO incredible and accommodating! Staff was super kind to all the guests, the vibes were great, and they even helped create a customized menu to match the “tini bit older” themed! Would strongly recommend for events!
They were under construction when we visited, our server was attentive and polite. Food was tastey, and a good variety of herbal tea.
Food is amazing, atmosphere and service are like no other! have tried several things on all the menus and definitely 12/10 recommended! Affordable and delicious.
Townhall has quickly become one of my absolute favourite local spots. It’s not just a café or a restaurant; it’s a staple in my weekly routine. I’m there at least once a week, sipping on the incredible Incline Coffee while tackling some writing or admin work. It’s the perfect blend of productivity and relaxation, and honestly, I don’t know how I’d manage without it.
The main restaurant serves food that’s so good, it feels like a treat every time I eat there. But what really sets Townhall apart is how brilliantly the owners have designed it to be kid-friendly. It’s a rare gem where you don’t have to apologize for your kids being, well, kids! The atmosphere is super chill, making it a great spot for families, solo visitors, and anyone looking for a relaxed vibe.
My 5-year-old son absolutely loves it. Whether he’s playing games or indulging in some well-earned ice cream. And for anyone looking to host an event, Townhall is a fantastic choice.
It’s safe to say that Townhall is a true treasure on Concession Street—one I feel so lucky to have in our community.
This establishment used to be awesome. But ever since they got rid of the head chef and their talented, hardworking employees, this place has gone to trash. Now it’s substandard food and bad service. It’s almost as if the owners have given up. From their cheap ingredients, to the poor service from personal experience town hall is not a place you want to visit.
Recieved substandard food and service the one and only time I've visited in person. Won't go back since it was that disappointing. Parlor seems to be the only decent offering.

The server Rebecca..... beyond horrible. I think the thing that was the worst about this server was watching her eat at the bar on her phone and then wiping her fingers on the backside of her clothing, while we waited for a glass of water. There was nothing in stock as per their menu, even after ordering we sat and watched the kitchen staff come out to a table near us to let them know what they ordered was not in stock and that the server (Rebecca) was supposed to know but did not inform them. The food was appalling, which was a let down, as bar food absolutely has its place and I was looking forward to it. From cold spinach dip, to wings that were not seasoned at all, as well as the smash burger slider trio that were burnt and dry. The absolute biggest waste of $90. The owners Kara & Brett should be absolutely EMBARRASSED OF THEMSELVES.

I held my 40th birthday party here a week ago Saturday. We originally planned to have it in the backyard, but due to forecasted rain, decided to move it to Townhall. And I'm so glad we did!
Food - the food and drinks were excellent. All of our guests raved about how delicious everything was and there was no shortage of it! I especially loved the pulled pork rolls and the flatbread. Also I would come back for the blackberry mojitos alone!!
Service - we worked with Kara to plan our event and she was fantastic! She helped us set the menu, had us come by to see the space, and was super responsive to all of our questions. On the day of, service was excellent. Stinks were delivered in a timely manner, did was laid out on time, and staff were great about clearing away plates and empty drinks.
Atmosphere - Townhall has such a cool vibe! I love the different stations and the turquoise walls! We were told we could set up a Playlist for our event, but didn't bother and the music was great--lots of 90s. And the games were a huge hit! We had kids at our event and they were all kept well occupied.
I would absolutely recommend Townhall to anyone looking to plan a more casual event, and plan to return for a regular meal soon!
