The food was good, and our server was pleasant. However, we were asking our server for a plain side carb (rice or potatoes) without oil because of a dietary restriction, and after talking to the chef, the manager came over to our table and said “hey guys so I just wanted to go over your order, i hear you’re trying to create your own menu” which was extremely rude. Then when we asked if they could just boil the potatoes they have, she said no that’s not possible we would...
Came here for my mother-in-laws birthday. Such a quaint and cozy restaurant. Server Hannah was fantastic, attentive without being intrusive, food was savoury and flavourful. Would definitely go back.
For appetizers, had the wild boar dumplings and the crispy chilli squid. Mains was the scallop and pancetta risotto and the earl grey and fennel duck. Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream was tje perfect ending.

This is one of the better restaurants Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing in my travels. While on business, I was more expecting to eat some bar food in downtown Hamilton but stumbled across this masterpiece of a restaurant randomly.
