Verlan is truly a hidden gem in Hamilton that more people need to know about! The space is small but cozy, and I loved being able to see the kitchen and watch Trish work her magic. Trish was nothing but kind and sweet — she took the time to talk with us, share the story behind the place, and even recommend dishes. She’s such a fun person, and her energy made the experience that much better.
The menu was honestly hard to choose from because everything looked so delicious. Each dish was prepared with care, and the flavours were absolutely impeccable. Everything was so fresh and thoughtfully made. I actually felt sad when I took my last bite because I didn’t want it to be over!
I’ll definitely be sharing this spot with family and friends, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

I visit Verlan regularly, as I can walk from my home. Went with two friends for brunch yesterday. It was exceptional! Trish and Victoria are so warm and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. So many options; 2 of us had crepes and one of us had a toastie. Just so much flavour and well cooked. I truly want to try everything on the menu! Highly recommend.

Verlan was such a wonderful, unique experience, very welcoming, wonderful people, beautiful chic little bistro, food was unusual and amazing, my 2 picky kids devoured every bite! It was all tasty and beautifully presented. Deffo a Hamilton highlight! We loved it, hoping to return next time we visit Canada!!

Went for breakfast last week and was not disappointed. I had not been for some time and was reminded that I need to come down more often. We both had a delicious crepe, one CBA and one feature crepe with chicken, spinach and walnuts. Great atmosphere and Trish is always welcoming and fun to chat with. Could not recommend more.

Fantastic food! My wife and I went there after a hospital appointment for breakfast and both of us were blown away by how good the food was. Service was fantastic! Ended up buying the tomato jam and French onion jam afterwards! Delicious! 😋 Wish we took pictures of the food before it was devoured haha

I can't say enough good things about Verlan. Trish and staff are warm and welcoming as well as efficient. The food is exquisite looking fresh and oh so delicious. The restaurant is a lovely green colour with .1wall.of. goodies you can buy .A fçriend brought me and so far l have brought 1 friend,. I'm trying to decide the order in which l'll be bringing the rest one at a time!!! WELL DONE .. .
