Verlan is truly a hidden gem in Hamilton that more people need to know about! The space is small but cozy, and I loved being able to see the kitchen and watch Trish work her magic. Trish was nothing but kind and sweet — she took the time to talk with us, share the story behind the place, and even recommend dishes. She’s such a fun person, and her energy made the experience that much better.

I visit Verlan regularly, as I can walk from my home.
Went with two friends for brunch yesterday. It was exceptional!
Trish and Victoria are so warm and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. So many options; 2 of us had crepes and one of us had a toastie. Just so much flavour and well cooked.
I truly want to try everything on the menu! Highly recommend.

Verlan was such a wonderful, unique experience, very welcoming, wonderful people, beautiful chic little bistro, food was unusual and amazing, my 2 picky kids devoured every bite! It was all tasty and beautifully presented. Deffo a Hamilton highlight! We loved it, hoping to return next time we visit Canada!!
