Absolute amazing food and service
I ordered a dirty martini and the first one came in an old fashioned champagne glass. Olives were old and soft but the drink itself was ok. Second one came in some random glass that you would serve something else in. Note to management: invest in martini glasses. First course was baked oysters. 3 for $26 is not value for the money. Could not taste any oyster as they were overtaken by the balsamic vinegar.
Second course, I wanted the lobster tail on saffron risotto but at 7;00 all the lobster was gone. I appreciate the hoops that restaurant owners go through to have stock and not waste so I was fine to substitute with scallops. When my dinner arrived there were only 3 scallops so I maybe had 80gr of protein. Not good value for the money. Saying that, the scallops were cooked perfectly and were fresh. The risotto was cooked well but the fat overtook any saffron that I could taste. I was given a little pot of warm buerre blanc, why I don't know as there was already too much fat in the dish. Lastly, our server Taylor was excellent! I am sure that she was maxed out with the number of partons she was looking after.

We were very disappointed in our dinner last evening at Victoria's. We had to wait well over 30 minutes from our reservation time until being seated. From then on it went slow, slow slow. It took too long to get our drink order in, to get our drinks, to get our food, appetizers and mains. The food was fair at best with the grilled oysters not being cooked and 3 of the 4 steak main courses being cooked wrong. When questioned about this, our server advised that it was based on there being different cuts of meat ordered! Really? At a steakhouse.? When called out on this, he offered to replace the mis cooked steaks.
The house specialty coffee was not good.
Service generally was disorganized.
Too bad, Hamilton can always use great restaurants. This is not one of them.

Definitely recommend the Truffle fries, steak tartare! All around experience is a 7.1/10. We ordered 2 14oz ribeyes med rare, whipped potatoes, steak tartare, truffle fries. The steak knives were extremely dull... We had to pull the steak apart with the knives and fork. Steaks were tough and fatty for the price.
Our bill was $210 without drinks and a 20% tip.

We were there for a special occasion and ended up spending around $500-600 for a memorable evening, which we were happy to do given the quality of the experience.
However, at the end of the dinner, I was surprised when they brought out a candle on a plain plate for my birthday. While I appreciate the gesture, it felt a little underwhelming, especially considering the cost of our meal and the celebratory context. A small complimentary dessert or something more thoughtful would have been a nice touch to align with the otherwise high standard of the restaurant.
Overall, it was a great evening, but that detail left us feeling that the celebration could have been handled with a bit more care.
Food is amazing! I have had a few different things from the menu and it's always been outstanding. The atmosphere is great, decor and style 6 perfection. I've had some great servers and some that should have just stayed home that day.
Tried to make another reservation after leaving the review and I was told no tables available. Called another date and time still nothing available.... Service stars were dropped for this reason

I took my boyfriend here for his twenty ninth birthday. All in all it was a good experience but a few things could be fixed to make it a superb dining experience. First and foremost it was freezing! We spent our entire experience shivering and I had to use my jacket to cover my legs. Our food was also impacted by the temperature of the restaurant therein leading to the second point. Not only was our lamb over cooked (imo) a medium well (perhaps that is how the chef usually prepares it and to be fair we were not asked how we wanted it made) it was also cold to eat soon after it arrived to the table. As a side we got the carrots and it quite crunchy .. but that might just be a preference as me and my partner prefer our carrots cooked down more but the crispy sage was a nice touch.
I will saw our server was wonderful and ensured that a cake was brought out for my boyfriend. I highly recommend the just bacon which was a standout for us and the wagyu is to die for. If you visit bring extra layers or hopefully they’ll have fixed the heating by then.

my boyfriend took me out for my birthday dinner here earlier in September & the food was amazing! we had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic restaurant, and i can't recommend it highly enough. it was my second time coming here, but we tried their 5 course meal & the food was nothing short of delicious. each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavour and showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients.
the standout for me was the shrimp cocktail. they were huge, fresh and perfectly seasoned! our server was attentive and knowledgeable.
the atmosphere of the restaurant contributed to a lovely evening. the ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor and soft lighting that created a cozy vibe. it the perfect setting for a relaxed dinner ?️
overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. we can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Victoria’s is an absolute gem! The crabcakes are divine, the mocktails are brilliant, and that chocolate cake? Honestly, it brought tears of joy. The staff are kind, friendly, and outstanding at what they do—we would’ve stayed all night just for their company.
We’ll be back, and bringing friends to share the magic.
Five stars all the way!

I love this place! Feels like home. Lois! Patrick! Hanna! Always so friendly and accommodating. Lois is always friendly and overly helpful!!! So personable and passionate about her guests. Thank you everyone for making ny daughter's 25th birthday the best! The birthday card was a nice touch! Food and staff are exceptional! Thank you again !
As always, the food was delicious, the service extraordinary, the visit entertaining and informative - Patrick - as usual - very informative about the food, its source and preparation.
Date night and was able to get a last minute reservation. First time here, and was not disappointed. Parking was not great as we had to walk a bit ( normally not an issue but my wife has a knee injury- but she didn't want to be dropped off at door by herself ) after finding street side parking. Greeted at door when we walked in and seated right away. Service impeccable, and food was completely amazing ( although our steak doneness -medium rare vs medium was mixed up ). Finally a GREAT steakhouse in the City !!
The food was simply excellent... the grilled oysters were especially decadent. Honestly, it was the best meal I've had in years. Highly recommend!
