I am saddened that I am this stores first negative review. Pre-ordered some commander pre-cons. Between my placing and paying in full my order and release, the price increased, tariffs. I was asked to pay the difference at pickup. An invoice was sent, but was sent to junk. I heard great things about the store, and while I understand the tariff price increase, it runs contrary to the store's TOS. I was offered an apology, a refund, and a Tarkir pack, that I did not accept.

Waypoint Games is one of those rare places that reminds you why small, local shops matter. I picked up a premium Pokémon box that turned out to have widespread factory damage—not the store’s fault at all, and the first and only time I've experienced that here—but Simon, the shop owner, took the time to genuinely listen and walked me through the process of contacting Pokémon support for a resolution.
He didn’t brush it off, didn’t deflect—just offered kind, thoughtful help. That kind of customer care is so rare, especially in the collectibles space. You can tell Simon actually loves what he does and respects the people who walk through his door.
The shop has a really chill, welcoming vibe, and they carry a nice range of TCG products. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back not just to buy, but to feel part of something.
Huge thank you to Simon for going above and beyond. I’ll definitely be back.
