Typical Wendy’s restaurant with a minor bonus! They’re pretty fast at making your food and getting it out to you! Which is a bonus when on a time crunch! Always clean and foods always hot!

If you love Wendys food because they have great tasty choices on the run , definitely run from this location. This location will mess something up almost every time. Whether its luke warm gravy, a half melted Frosty as soon as you get it handed to you, or a sad case of mysteriously missing condiments on burgers (could you inagine this happened all at once, because it did!🫤) you can be consistently disappointed at this location. I could go on but Im hangry. Its been years by the way where this restaurant messes up basic orders. I rarely complain because people make mistakes but Upper James Wendys is just embarrassing.

The only good things about this location are two of the employees that were here before at the old location, and perhaps the food. The tables, chairs, booths, and flooring are usually filthy and rarely cleaned. Aside from occasional damaged booths and ceilings, there is always a mess. The tables are sticky with rings from drinks, have crumbs, condiments, food remains, and spills. The seats are often similar, with booths often having garbage stuffed behind them. The floors are also dirty, same with the garbage bins, trays, and condiment/drink area. The interior hasn't been maintained since it was installed. Interior rarely gets cleaned. This is a surprise considering the number of staff members, some of which just hang out and don't do anything or mess up orders. In a couple of cases, with the younger and more recent employees, there was no cashier available and employees were in the back talking despite it being lunch time, and plety of customers lining up. Makes me miss the old location where there was character and more seating. Also, the fresh (never frozen) is a lie. Perhaps only the salads aren't frozen but they are refrigerated, and same with the bottles of water, though I have had frozen water bottles in the past here. They also prioritize drive-thru orders, meaning if you walk in, you could be waiting quite a bit to order and then to sit down and eat your food.

Worst experience !!! 3 people on drive thru . 2 making food an no one working front desk got told to hold on a min and after waiting 20 mins they just right on the headset and helped drive thru before my family waiting at the front desk inside wendys . They lost my sale . Mind you there was no one inside . They were to busy worrying about drive thru we walked out !

I got 2 combos they messed up one drink and one of the burgers was built with lettuce and bacon outside of the burger. The website also isn’t really user friendly….. actually it sucks otherwise I would just deal with this there.

Make sure you check your order before you leave the premises. I would have given this location 3 stars because they mess up my order 90% of the time. They are good at making it right when informed but it is still inconvenient, especially when you leave.

However, the 5 stars is for the manager. I wish I got his name. While I was at the drive thru, some insane person blocked my vehicle at the end of the drive thru and started verbally assaulting me for no reason. The manager who was taking my order went out of his way to intervene and defend me. That person finally left when the manager threatened to call the police. The manager profusely apologized to me, offering to comp my meal and insisted on doing so when I did not allow him to because that interaction was not his fault at all.

He even looked at the cameras to reassure me that he did not see him/the vehicle, and offered to step out to ensure my safety as I was leaving. He further reassured me that if something was to occur then to call the location and he would gladly provide footage to the police.

This manager was so incredibly caring, kind, and just a solid example of a genuinely good human being - thank you.

Terrible costumer service. Called to double check my delivery order and lady who answered picks the phone up and said “hi…” I was confused if I even called the right number. I’ve worked in fast food for 4 years and have only ever answered the phone saying “hello this is (fast food chain) how May I help you”

Placed an order, and I had two combos missing I called to get those two missing combos delivered and the person who answered the phone hung up the phone on me because she has poor customer service and did not want to have the orders delivered because “ I don’t have time to deal with you” click - I tried calling back 3 times and no answer TERRIBLE SERVICE
